| Saints player knocks the ball out of a Leeds player hand, knock-on against Leeds - another pearler from Silverwood.
Still, makes me feel a bit better about last night. At least there's enough referreing incompetence to go round.

Well say ing Leeds man played at that is one of the all time great bad decisions, but it's to our advantage. Wigan beaten too.

| Brilliant results for us tonight!
We stay 3rd and if Cas win on Sunday we drop to 4th, next week Wigan play Leeds so that's another team around us dropping 2pts. We need to win our remaining games to guarantee top 4.

That's karma, on the other side of the field just prior to that Watkins or someone practically handed the ball forward to peacock which went unnoticed

| I have to congratulate saints, they deserve to win the hub cap bar the formalities.
I don't really want to dilute what they have achieved but there's is a question if they can finish top with a half back combination that has been wrecked at long periods throughout the season doesn't that point to a low standard of competition?
Even Wire finishing possibly 3rd or 4th almost beggars belief, last April nobody would have given us a carrot to be in the 6!

| Saints fans will be raving that they've won the hubcap after years of calling it meaningless. 8 years of nothing will do that to you though I guess

| Not decrying Saints achievements here, but overall I feel it's not been an outstanding league this year.
It's been - and is still - very very close so I suppose you could argue that the cap is working but I've been to very few matches this year (partly because we've been on the tv so much) and many times have thought 'glad I didn't go to that'.
Anyway congrats Saints - hub cap or not it's still worth winning in my opinion.

| They haven't won it yet? Alright they have to lose both their last two matches and Cas have to win their last three, but that is still a possibility.

That's absolute rubbish. Referee's don't have a bias towards certain Clubs, at times they may be inept, but they are certainly not bent.

| It may feel like a watered down league this year but this is what the league have been striving for for the last 19 years ,a competition where any team can beat any other on any given day. The blueprint has finally been put into practise .

I've never seen a voluntary tackle penalty awarded in my entire life. I'm starting to question whether it's a real rule. Tbh, I don't think it should be, screams stupid to me and I'm glad it's never enforced.
