| Awful fare from two poor sides today unfortunately.
Feel for Hayes, that didn't look good.

| We made their pack look really good, even after they lost Vuniyayawa.
We definately need another big prop, not a second rower/prop but an out and out Prop.
The whole team just looked Tired to me, everything was slower and sloppier with no aggression this week.
Gutted for hayes, looks like his season is over with a snapped ankle

I’m no doctor but looking at the footage(no pun intended) I’m guessing at least a year, it looked really bad.

| Quote ratticusfinch="ratticusfinch"I thought that performance was absolutely abysmal to be honest. We’ve played a Salford side who didn’t play well and a 30% per cent performance would have got us over the line. Bar Williams and Hayes the rest of em were dreadful.
Lindop must be injured otherwise he needs to come in (or Lynch) if Ashton is injured and Ratchford and Russell should never trouble the first team again unless for an absolute emergency.
Vaughan also needs a good day talking to.'"
Lindop hobbled off injured in a game about a month ago. I have not seen him in any of the Academy/Reserves games since then, so I assume he is still injured?
Not heard anything about Lynch since he was loaned-out to North Wales Crusaders for a season long loan.
I would have preferred to see Kai Taylor-Wray make his debut on the wing, instead of Russell.
Russell just isn`t Super League standard and should be playing in the Championship.

| Yeah i like Russell and i've always thought he was a decent utility squad player, dependable and solid. But he he had an absolutely stinker yesterday, really really bad, but the squad as a whole weren't great, hopefully just one of those off games.

| Last year we entered a slump after a tough away win in the cup and never recovered (4 wins from 17 remaining games).
Be interesting to see if Sam can get us back to our best.

| The backs always look poor when the pack is second best…
Has Vaughan been found out?
Do Burgess and Vaughan get along?
Is there jealousy that 3 years ago Burgess was an equal to Vaughan, and now he’s his boss?
Is Vaughan half the player for Burgess?

| There’s something not right with Vaughan, no idea what but he’s not himself at all.
The pack was weirdly poor yesterday and the interchanges seemed odd to me.

| Yes I think that the pack was poor as was the team in general.
Salford deserved the points IMO because they played for and got the game they wanted they effectively did to us what we did to Saints recently.
The game wasn't a forward game at all as Salford wanted, it was scruffy and scrapy as they wanted it, and most importantly the game played out wide where they had the advantage with Lafai and Macdonald

| Vaughan's stats show he was head and shoulders our most effective prop forward with 80m.
Need to be looking at Philbin and Bullock who managed 26.

| All the very best to Hayes who looks to have a giant heart for such a small lad.
We had someone similar in Robbie Burrow.
Hope the lad makes a full recovery as it looked a very bad injury.
