Just my opinions unless it's a FACT, in which case it's a fact.:d7dc4b20b2c2dd7b76ac6eac29d5604e_74166.jpeg

Quote: tradesmans entrance "Again we take Hill and Cooper off and the wheel's fall off! Just after h/time Wigan were on a roll but could not turn possession into point's, a good side would have had a field day........(Saint's)'"

Momentum changes in a game. I think you’re being very selective. BMM came within a whisker of scoring while they were off.
This idea that only 1 team has a say in a game is way off. Wigan threw the kitchen sink at us in the first period of the 2nd half and we weathered the storm.

Quote: WireWireWire "Not great but I didn't feel like we really even tried. We just went through the motions for 70 minutes and turned it on for 10 to put space between us on the board. All we need at this point in the season are the two points. If we can do it without breaking our back then why should we.'"

I don’t think you were watching the same game as I was. A classic blood and guts Wire vWigan match.

Not a good day [iau bureau[/i for Leigh today but the mood was very much lightened by yet another Wiggin loss and the "LAM-entations" that followed. They were "Courageous"!!

Thanks Wire.

Lam says he's thinking of staying on next season after the Edwards fiasco. Hope he stays forever! icon_lol.gif

In the world according the Lam they were the better team and the game turned on bad referee decisions. To be fair I think they edged all the match stats, with the exception of the main one.

I'm all for coaches showing SOME emotion, but Lam is like a petulant, hormonal 15 year old boy. Flinging arms in the air, whinging at everything.

...and, what the #### was the Sky director's obsession with the camera on him, ALL the time. Show the ####ing game.

I hope Lam stays for at least 2 more years. They (Wigan) are going nowhere. Long may it continue

Perhaps it's safer to screen Lam than take a close up of a 'take the fEckington 2!' From Price!

I felt sorry for the poor bloke that was sat next to lam who kept.space invading.

Seriously lam looked like his hairline receded in the second half. It cant instill much confidence in his players if they're seeing him react like that on telly every week

Had it on the radio & it sounded a good blood & thunder slogathon , the Philbin charge sounded amazing. Our defence sounded as if it stood up very well against the desperate Wigan comeback apart from our ever present danger period ,just after half time. That fault has been with the team since Smith's days & needs to be worked on. I also thought the game highlighted the importance of "taking the two" .

PS, did Currie play ? I don't think i heard his name once on the commentary.

Thought we lost the field position battle in the first half, as we seemed to start our set 10m to 20m from our line, and Wigan started further up the field. Great association football skills from Lineham, and well done Dec Patton for being Johnny on the spot. Superb try from Austin, and wonderful awareness and offload from Charnley. Deserved the win, puts us in good spirits for Friday. Full marks for Dec Patton's goal kicking.

Blake Austin is the ducks nuts and we are very lucky to have him. The same goes for Daryl Clark. They're are not many world class players in Super League but luckily we have two.

I could argue that were not lucky because we pay handsomely for them...
But we are blessed for having some very wealthy sugar daddies.
