Working a 6-2 so hopefully finish a bit early, coach/mini bus down. few beers in Manchester before game. Back to Warrington to drown sorrows/celebrate in Cromwells more than likely.

Nice leisurely drive home on Saturday morning. Staying at my sister's house. Four of us somewhere near the ground about 4pm, a few jars, then into the game. Straight back to Warrington afterwards and either drown our sorrows or celebrate.

This thread has got me thinking. Does anyone know the bloke who travels to all the away games from somewhere in West Yorkshire! I used to bump into him in various train stations pretty much every week during my three years in Yorkshire exile but never actually got talking!

Must buy before you board from the machine on the platform. Personally would advise against the tram and suggest getting the train from Piccadilly or Oxford Rd. Only takes a few minutes then you are actually at the stadium, Old Trafford tram stop is located at the cricket ground so you've then got a few minutes walk on top of having stopped everywhere |
