Listening to the Wire FM commentary tonight, Ben Harrison said that Joel would be having surgery next week, and would then be out for a further four weeks. Not good news. On the plus side though, he said he was recovering well from his own injury and was targeting the game against Hull KR in a fortnight for his comeback.

Valuable player gets a month off, recharges his batteries and comes back in time, fit and raring to go for the most important stage of the season??.....Sounds ideal, especially as we have adequate cover to see us comfortably through his absence.
