| Quote: Saddened! "Does anyone have any information as to Warrington's actual involvement in all this?
The only thing Tony Puletua himself said was that he would stay at Saints if he could sort out some issues back home. Where do the papers and so, so many Warrington fans on here get the information that he'd agreed to join Warrington from? Several on here were 100% convinced of it.'"
Exactly
Rumours only
Some Stains fans (from what I remember) wanted us reporting to the RFL, for the definate "tapping up" of Stains' player

No, ditch
You've obviously not seen katie.smithson's laughable effort, earlier.
Yes, we're obviously entitled to our own opinion, but hers is plainly 'daft'

To start with, the fact that you'd take Francis Meli over Joel Monas is laughable.

If you read it you would see my reasons why. Hodgson is unquestionably a better player than Wellens, but as I put originally I would want us to actually sign him because he's so old. Same with Morley. As good as he is, he is only going to play another year after this one at most.
I think you are letting my name affect what I've actually written. I've said I would like Saints to sign 3 of your players (4 if you add Monaghan who I forgot about) and said another 2 are good enough to be in our 13 but I wouldn't actually want us to sign them. Hardly one eyed biased and away with the fairies like you make out.
If you did the same for Saints I bet the majority of Warrington fans wouldn't admit to rating any Saints players higher than their Wire equivalents. (Which is perhaps more silly as the clubs have the same amount of points in the league and the fact that we'd be above Warrington had we not had such a ridiculous run with injuries.).

| Saddo is almost right.
I think we'd say no thanks to
Wellens
Gardner
Meli
Flanimals
Gaskell
Maybe Lomax
Eastmond
Sia soli-madeofe
The fact that only a few wire players would bea ccepted to sts according to her highness is mad.
WEstwood on the bench is troll. I can't think of the last time he wasn't the best 2nd rower in the league.
Evans
Monas J
Harrison
Myler
Atkins
etc
Maybe Briers
Mozza
Hodge
Kingy
Gaz
Would all be snapped up by sts in reality. I don't think we'd want Meli or Gardner. s'all I'm saying.

| You make a fair point Sadman even though I have to disagree with Westwood on the bench. Bring TP off the bench for me IMO.
I'd have Foster off you, but with a fully fit squad, like you I don't think he'd be in the team (unless Soliola remains a backrower). Wilkin would be a great utility player. Roby & Graham obviously. TP I would have welcomed with open arms as replacement for Anderson but I'd prefer to have Louis in all honesty.

| Saint Wolves.
Hodgson
Jmonas
Bridge
Atkins
Foster
Briers
Lomax
Graham
Roby
Morley
Westwood
Wilkin
Puletua
Monas
Carvell
Harrison
Soliola
Based on the current form of players in the last month or so I would go with something like that. I actually rate Soliola unlike a few on here doesn't half in hit hard in defence and is no-nonsense type of forward.

| I would imagine most Wire fans would agree that we are superior to the Saints man for man.
But they are level with us on points? Is the difference that they have an advantage with Royce over TS?

advantages of a tighter league. I am excited as all hell. Hope Wigan drop a few points.
But you can only field 17 and that is why we are all so close.

The difference (as I'm sure Sally is WELL aware, after he takes his tongue out of his cheek) is our MUPPETRY in certain games.
Stains' dropped points games, have been reasonably consistant. A couple of narrow ones, where the games could have gone either way, or games where they've been outclassed. IIRC, on each ocxcasion, they've played their strongest side.
Our's have all been from rank bad performances
The 2 v Hudds, were like going back in time 30 years for an away game's performance (ok, Cardiff's injuries didn't help)
Cats, both sides were pooh, but we allowed them to WALK through our "defence"
Hull, well, 5h1t3, just 5h1t3
I'm not to ashamed to admit it, but there are Stains players I'd have in our 13 (quite a few), BUT, there we go, I'm big enough to admit it. It seems blind pig-ignorance still exists for the Scouse dontwannabes
