| You can get the alcoholic ginger beer and the desperados from Ace of Hearts Garage, shell petrol station just outside Great Sankey, £5 for 4 bottles and at 5.9%, it's a tad strong for a lager.

| Aaahh, where to start......
I will hopefully, this year be putting the finest touches to the 'lets all get komode huggingly drunk', home brew. This consists, of Special Brew, a splash of White Lightning, a generous slug of Absynth, mixed with a fine dark stout, served in a warm glass. This year I shall be adding what I think is the missing ingredient -'Kiwi Parade Ground Shine - Black boot polish',(regrettably Supermarket Own Brand simply leaves a bad taste in the mouth), which of course has to be prepared carefully distilled, and filtered through a maidens hair, on an east facing hillside, with not a lecherous goat herder in sight. Its supposed to be triple filtered, but I never quite get around to this, as usually after a few tester snifters I have lost my sight, and my hands for some inexplicable reason have started to shake uncontrollably. In previous years I was even hallucinating, thinking that 'THIS' was our year, however after the glory of August, the arrival of Sir Tony, and a purchased season ticket, this time I ownt be hallucinating.
Nurse...nurse...

I wonder what it is like to put those two drinks in the same glass? Whisky mixes well with dry ginger, could be a potent tipple.

| i am shaking the effects of last nights beverages off rather slowly, the last four drinks of the evening were in no particular order
badger golden glory
badger sneck lifter
adnams best
very large glass of rioja
(all consumed after several cans of john smiths and the usual assortment of little things you pop in the oven for 12-15 minutes)
i am very nearly christmassed out and ready for the wagon in january when my favourite tipple will be fizzy water and robinsons lemon cordial.
