| Quote: Paul Youane "All well and good but 20 years between trips to Wembley is a long, long time, its not even the same blinking stadium now-a-days. I know if we win tomorrow I'm going to party like its 1999.
I'll worry about winning the actual trophy itself in a week or so.'"
IF we get to Wembley then winning the trophy would be a nice bonus, for me the biggest thing would be getting there.
A win tomorrow would make my season, almost regardless of the result at Wembley if we were to get there.

| Quote: Wire_85 "Lee will need to play a big part if we are to win but I just have this feeling that if Mona's is up for it and on song he could really do the damage to beat wigan.'"
Its Lee`s kicking game that will break Wigan down, if he can keep them pegged down in their own end of the field, i simply dont think that their forwards are capable of getting them out of trouble and up the other end of the field, for the full 80 mins. Their backs will be forced to do more of the hard work to try and gain field position and that would be a big ask when they are up against our pack, they will tire and that is when Mona`s "should" come in to his own, especially at the play-the-ball area. My only worry is which Briers will turn up?

| We need to play the game we are best at and are not often allowed to play. Fast play the balls, get it out wide and run with the ball. Slow them down as much as we have been lately. Monas has played fantastic at hooker and has the speed to create the gap or run from dummy half to gain some quick ground. Whenever we rely on Briers we win if he has a good game, but lose heavily if he doesn't!

i totally agree. getting to wembely will fill the team a world of good and confidence levels will be up. Also it will be good for them to take part in a 'big game' as we have now got Smith with us for the off-season, who knows what next season will bring
just seeing the primrose and blue colours at wembely will actually make my life.
COME ON THE WIREEE!

| Quote: the original stevo "i'll ask you one question did watch playin for wales againest the aussies inthe first half the welsh won no infact briers won that first half on his own although they lost the game which was down to the fact of the lack of decent players around him if briers would have had the luxury of a decent coach or team mates over the years he would have been a world beater and believe it or not i can't stand the guy on a personal basis'"
If he was this great player, he surely should have ran the show for Wales against Scotland in the world cup qualifiers a season or so back. Sadly he was completely anonymous and outshone by Danny Brough, who was then playing NL1. Brough got man of the match despite being sin binned.

Lee is a great player and I hope he will show his class today and make you eat your words mate. Although having said that, he doesn't need to prove anything to people who don't recognise talent and passion when they see it...

So by showing his class today which he did, fair play to him, still doesn't answer why he couldn't do it on the international stage for Wales vs Scotland, when as the star player he should, if he had talent, have ran the game against a fair few players who were NL1 quality.
Surely a player of his passion, class and talent has the ability to shine in a match like that.

| Thats probably one of the best games I've seen the guy play. Fully deserved MOM and it was nice to see the dedication to his late brother.
Well done today guys, time to go to Wembley.
