| Quote: robbierotten "The Sun paper is getting very bad at the min with its anti Labour bashing. Its verging on propaganda in its all things Conservatives.'"
Do you remember the Sun's stance in 1996, when Blair had allready been elected Labour leader, and it was evident that the Tories had no chance of winning the (what was to be) 1997 election, the Sun changed it's political stance, to back Blair's Labour party. The Sun just want to be associated with whoever is popular at the time.
Unfortunately, your average Sun reader does not have the wit to form their own political viewpoint. You've only to look at The Sun's style of "journalism". The whole paper is based on one sentence paragraphs, and "none stories" about Beckham's wife, Jordan, and "talent" shows. Enough said.

| Gordon Brown goes on a state visit to Israel . While he is on a tour of Jerusalem he suffers a heart attack and passes away. The undertaker tells the British Diplomats accompanying him, 'You can have him shipped home for £50,000, or you can bury him here, in the Holy Land, for just £100.'
The British Diplomats go into a corner and discuss for a minute. They come back to the undertaker and tell him they want Gordon shipped home.
The undertaker is puzzled and asks, 'Why would you spend £50,000 to ship him home, when it would be wonderful to be buried here and you would spend only £100? With the money you save you could help pay back some of the deficit, help pay for the Olympic Games or help the elderly'.
The British Diplomats replied, 'Long ago a man died here, was buried here, and three days later he rose from the dead. We just can't take the risk.'

| Fair electoral system?
Latest BBC Poll of Polls - Tories 33%, Lib Dems 29%, Labour 28%.
On a uniform swing numbers of seats would be Labour 280, Tories 247, Lib Dems 94.
Go figure.

| With any election winner I can't help but get the depressing feeling that I will be worse off next year than I am now.

I dont understand this either. I dont know why we need to countenance a "swing" which indicates historic voting.

| Who knows what will happen after this week's debate. To be honest, I thought the debates would be damp squibs, but if the next two have the same impact as the first one, we could end up anywhere by 6th May.

| Why are the T.V. only affording the big three a voice out of interest.
Why are the other party leaders not given a chance ?
The Broadcasting rules say that they must give equal amount of time to each party yet where is everyone else ?

I am now beginning to think that the Conservatives have blown it. Cameron's "wooly" big society vision manifesto then Clegg's superb performance in the debate.
I can see that sinister, dour, jock grinning at us again, with Clegg as his puppet. Spunking NHS money hand over fist whilst the benefit culture grows and grows.

Self perpetuating? Of course. I made the mistake of thinking we had a modern, fair, democratic system.
