| Burgess seemingly happy with that according to his interview then. He must have seen a different match to me. I have a horrible feeling we're banking on Wembley. Ugh.

| Our reserves and academy keep winning week after week. Any chance we can see some of those lads in the team in the near future? Especially seeing as a lot of that so called team we had out today thankfully won't be here next season.

That would require thinking outside the box! I also believe that first team football would suck the life out of them.

| A champion team scores when 4 pts behind and 8 mins on the clock.
That, we are not

| We're no different now than we've been in the past 8 years. In fact I'd argue at least we had better defence under Price. Attack still toothless, its painful to watch. And I wouldn't mind so much if Burgess called it like it was but he now seems to have fallen into pretending like we're making a good fist of it when the reality is we don't give a until its do or die and then we wanna start playing. Would be nice to see Tai & Dufty release the ball every now and then aswell - Ashton and Thewlis only get the ball when they fall back for a kick.

| A dreadful watch. We were never in it despite the close scoreline earlier on. Leigh had 2 tries disallowed and we only came back with 2 scores in the last quarter. too little too late. Too much one out rugby. We looked slightly better when walker went to 9. Not sure why use him as a 6 as we never even used his kicking game. We tried him at 6 a few years ago IIRC and it didn't work. We may as well have stuck Currie there. We had some joy on the left edge with Dufty but we didn't try this enough (until we were chasing the game). Only glimmer of hope is that Saint's are just as bad as us in attack so unless with can grind out a slug fest next week i feel we're in for another loss.

Garbage team selection, garbage squad utilisation, players we sign and don't trust, players we sign and persist with even though they are useless and no rugby IQ between them.
Teams don't beat us, we hand them victory days in advance.
I can literally hear Morrissey singing this: Garbage team selectionGarbage squad utilisationPlayers we siggggn and don't truuustPlayers we sign and persist withEven though they are uselessNo rugby IQQQQ between them

| Picture the scene
You enter a surprise competition, where your prizes are allocated on the draw.
Way hey, you've won
Your prize is an allocated concert, with transport and food included.
Your transport is a brown Austin Maestro
Your food is an unlimited supply of ready salted crisps
The concert is Coldplay
That's how ordinary we are. Drab, drab, DRAB.
All that expectation, and that's what you get. Tai, Russell, Crowther, Powell and plenty more that are NOWHERE NEAR the level of what's required to challenge.
We are where we always were. Competitive in some big games, but short when it MATTERS, and still lose normal games.
The Burgess and Vaughan extensions of contracts are coming home to roost. Both need to earn their money.....let's see it.

| Another garbage display by a poorly coached Wire team. Burgess deserves the boot for how he let this season slide into a bad one. Poor recruitment by himself, Leyland and Russell aren?t even championship level. Only Wire were daft enough to sign them. This has been coming since last season, Burgess isn?t at a standard level to be the man to guide Wire forward. Any hopes he has of an nrl return can be dashed. We have two generational talents in Lindopp and Wray but Burgess insists on playing Tai and Dufty. The club need to rid the deadwood in that I include Currie, King, Vaughan and a few others.

| I understand your frustrations because We were not on it as well. If either of us get to Wembley, massive improvements are required.

| 9th in the league. Table doesn't lie. Will be even worse after the next tough run of games.
Slow motion car crash of a season. Heads buried in sand. This was coming long before williams' injury before that excuse gets reeled out.
Sam looks lost.
But at least we had the hilarity of our Instagram/ Beaumont jibe to cheer us up.

Bang on. Dull, insipid, uninspiring, bland, tedious and achingly boring. If Wires were one of Dolly Partons triplets, we'd be the bottle fed one.
