Must admit I don't really care what the ground is called, probably because I always just refer to it as "the ground" anyway.

"Wolves" has irritated me a lot for 16 years though. It even winds me up when fans of other clubs refer to their own team by their Super League era "nickname". I can handle Cas and Salford doing it because they probably did refer to them as the Tigers and Reds/Red Devils in the past anyway, but hearing Wakefield fans call their team "Wildcats" for example just bugs me.

As for Huddersfield - they seem to chant for "Giants" and "Fartown" in equal measure. Well which is it hedge betters?!

The only two I find mildly tolerable are Bulls and Rhinos, but that's probably because they took off in popularity so quickly I've been forced to get used to them. The rest though - forget it.

Apparently the ref's video replays will not show forward passes...the machines are made by a company with branches in Leeds & Wigan.

The ball being booted downfield, and it going dead, and the returning side only start on their own 20. If it's gone dead, after it was kicked anywhere outside say 30m from the posts, the opposition should start from 40m out. It's just plain laziness/no attacking ideas from the original team.

The Early Bird renewal day is like the DFS sale. Will it be like last year in that due to popular demand the deal will be extended. The other hate is that when those that buy a season ticket later will get a free foam hand or Grand Final t shirt or some other product the shop can't sell.

You must have seen them? They either have a finger sticking out to indicate number 1 or a thumb sticking up. I can't say nothing to be fair. My daughter made me buy her one for Wembley the other year.

There aare sound coaching reasons for this. Firstly, the ball is being carried into the centre channel so the attack can build left or right of the ruck from that point on.

Secondly, if the winger doesn't receive the ball he acts as a decoy drop-off runner thus creating possible hesistancy in the chasing defenders.

Thirdly, the player who doesn't receive the ball is then in close proximity to take a scoot, particularly important if the kick returner secures a quick PTB during the defence-attack transition.
