Rod needs to spend off season learning how to play rugby. He's clueless and I can't believe anyone wants him in our team. I'd take Lindop or Wrench every day of the week. He's strong and if you run at him directly he will hit you hard. There's a lot more to rugby than that. In rugby terms he's braindead.

The hindsight is, don't play Vaughan for 20 mins

Can't fault very much about that. Home team were always going to throw everything at us in the first half; we were under the cosh but would have only been four points down if it were not for a scandalous decision.

Second half we threw everything at them, completely won the territory but just couldn't find the last route through. Disappointed but not ashamed. Ashton was simply incredible.

Shameful decision, but we weren't good enough in the end. They're the best team we've played against this season, but I hope Wigan batter them next week. I'll enjoy seeing Mikey Lewis get shown up on the big stage as much as I enjoyed Luke Gale getting it in 2017.

Kick the goals we win the game. 1 was not difficult, the other on the touchline but we saw one nailed like that last week when it mattered.

It was in our hands.

Anyway a much better season than I was expecting.

If that try wasn't given, the whole game works out differently, so don't focus on it.

Joe burgess basically admitted he didn’t ground it. Oh well unlucky again and yes missed conversions cost us in the end. Improvement but not a great season unless you get to the big dance.

KR deserved that win, got no issues with it.
Tai, i like him defensively 90% of the time and he hit's like a truck. But in attack he's just miles off unfortunately. They out powered us and can't really say much more.
All in all i've loved this season, best season we've had for a long time in terms of how we've played and effort etc.
I think we need a specialist centre, 2nd row, quality half and another big bulldozer of a prop. Bullock isn't gonna come in and fill that void for the next 2 years.
On to next season now, New signings, new kit and the firework display to look forward too, 2nd year of Burgess bring it on COYW

It was not Josh Thewlis fault that we lost that, it's a crying shame that people are blaming that loss on him.

We played for 40 minutes only and wtf was the decision to bench Vaughan for over half the match??

Blaming Thewlis is mental, he had a great game and saved us on countless occasions when their entire game plan in attack was based on trying to pressure him.

No blame from me but he will be dissapointed with his kicking. One was straightforward and it cost us.

We lost that game in the middle. They smashed us.

My feelings exactly.
Goalkicking is vital, but our first half was quite frankly, average. A pathetic refereeing "decision" has cost us, but we should overcome that.

Ashton was superb tonight, and I'm gutted he won't be at the GF.

Tai, I'm sorry, but bar a few "big hits" is basically Championship level.
Drinkwater...don't let the door catch your bum on the way out.

Burgess....total respect. He's transformed this side from where we were, with that waste of atoms, Powell.
