| I'll go to my friends, put his wigan shirt on and have it has my profile picture for 1 whole season if he comes good, that's how sure I am of how garbage he is and will continue to be.
Bookmark it, everyone that reads this including Wigan fans and fans of all other clubs, remind me the instant he starts to look the part consistently.

| Yed I love the way you bag Roy, it's hilarious! You could clearly see him not trying tonight and chuckling to himself every time he made a mistake. I hope next week his place is taken by a tedious arris that has never played the game! Smith out!

| I so hope that happens!
Perhaps TS deliberated signed an over-the-hill gash player, so that we would lay off the rest of the team, and boost their confidence, psychological genius. How do you think the contract negotiations went?
TS: 'Roy, do you want to come over to England and be our whipping boy?'
RA: ‘No’
TS: ‘But we’ll pay you loads, it will be like a massive long holiday’
RA: ‘Yes’

| I posted a month ago that we should give him time but I have to say he looks dreadful. He must be totally embarrassed sat in the changing room with the rest of the side who gave it their all.

| Oh yeah, how bad was the Ablett hit in Joel Monaghan at the end? Was "on report" a cop out for a poor effort at a tackle? and should we have has an eight point try for it?
(I couldn't tell fro over the other side and can't see on the screen!)

Ablett tried to kick the ball out of Joel's hands as he placed the ball over the line. He missed and kicked him in the head instead, so it was a bad one and he will certainly get suspended for it. No real malice though, and he did apologise.

| Thought last night was our performance of the season. One "failure" that I thought summed up the teams attitude was Rhys Evans backing himself to around the outside of the Leeds defence only to get knocked into touch just before the line. Two more yards and that would have been one heck of a try. 10/10 for at least having a go.

| Very harsh to call it a failure, I don't mind h I'm backing himself but hardaker did a good job covering the supporting runners.
It'll be part of Rhys' learning process, he gets in that position again in future, he'll cut in earlier or know to throw himself at the line in the air.

| I would like to see Laithwaites play loose, he's got great hands and his tackling is unbelievable with the amount of work he puts in. Don't see him breaking the line as a busting second rower more of a link loose. Apparently played all his junior rugby at Crosfields as a loose fwd.

Totally outplayed us in every department. Your line speed and play the ball kept you on the front foot all game. Our half backs were clueless and our forwards were totally bossed by your pack.
Hill was immense and Michael Monaghan controlled the game.
Even Atkins looked good
Nice post.

"Failure" was simply referring to the fact that he didnt make. I thought it was great that he had the belief to go for it. Had he made the line it would have been awesome.

| On Ablett and Joel, did I hear right that his defence to the ref was 'I was trying to kick the ball'? Isn't that illegal as well? Do players actually know that, it seems to happen a lot across the league.

| Quote: Winslade's Offload "Agreed that was the best performance for a very long time. Even England is starting to look promising. The only worries are that we seem to have lost Curie (anybody see his injury ?) and Ratchford will almost certainly get done for his tackle. Hopefully Joel Monaghen will be ok, his departure looked precautionary.'"
I think that's a little unfair. We seem to forget that he was injured mid May-January. I have no doubt he will come good. It really says it all when a young lad making the step up from part time to full time footy is getting starts over a former test captain.

| I wasn't actually being critical in England's case. It does look more promising for him, he was running hard at the Leeds line, didn't seem to drop anything, didn't get involved in any confrontations and from what I can remember, got through a reasonable tackling stint. But he needs to make better use of his size and gain more yardage when taking the ball up, and lets not forget he is not a young lad at all, he is 27 yrs old - a prime age for a prop. With a bit of luck he will stay injury free to the end of the season and we can see if he makes the transition or not.

| If England can stay injury free, the game time will do him good and he will end up a decent SL prop.
The problem England has, is that we are trying to compare him with Hill... who is a FREAK and head and shoulders the best prop in super league.
we cant expect any signing to come in and be as good as hill, as its not going to happen.
