Absolutely disgraceful abuse of position by Tony Smith.

That's several things sorted then;
1. The caution situation is sorted out (and was several weeks ago).
2. Their non-selection for Ireland is resolved.
3. Bridge isn't going anywhere.

I agree. It is a sad day when Smith makes people turn their backs on their native land and play for another. Harrison and Bridge will never be able to show their faces in Dungarvon again.

Whats going to happen if Smith wins more trophies with Warrington, how would he feel if the ARL started putting pressure on him to abandon his home and coach the Kangaroos...?

Choose my homeland like Bridge and Harrison have done. They could have taken the easy option like the other casual Guinness drinkers of getting cheap international caps but they are committing to the challenge of winning England honours.

Me too, but I cant help wondering how the RFL thinks this helps the developing(emerging nations). when they are able to swap and change, it must be very frustrating for any Irish Scots, or Welsh lads that are on the fringes and will lose their positions if players dont get selcted for england and they can jump ship again. Not very moral really. but if the rule allow it...
