This is a professional rugby league side we are talking about, not picking sides for a school playground kickabout in the dinner break. What if Ben wasn't good enough in the first place. What happens if Ben turns out to be a crock of pooh/has a bad injury/falls out of love with the game.....does Rhys take his bat and ball home? |

Ben is a superb player and on Saturday he was presented with the under 20's player of the season for 2010... the very same team that Rhys played in.... He has also been promoted to the first team by Smith.
He hasn't done badly for a tag along has he.

I think Rhys has put in some excellent performances so far too but are people not getting a bit carried away?
This is so similar to the way everyone was getting so excited about Penny. Chill out and just see what happens.
And as for Union and/or other teams coming sniping, at the end of the day he's a professional athlete and as such has a right to decide where he wants to earn his living.

| I hope he doesnt do a "Kevin Penny" ie burst onto the scene, a sh*tload of hype, one good season, then thats it. I think if we dont overhype him,there wont be too much pressure on him, and he will prosper.
