Their reply is stupid, to say its a disgrace. Not only did the players vote and its fair to say they are a better judges but, if you go back 10 years there has been Hodgson, Richards, Wellens, Long and Lyon as winners and a winger won it in 88/ But, none of the others played for Wigan did they so nothing was said. It could have been a forward but as Pat has played every game and every minute this year then I suppose he deserves it also, unlike forwards who get spelled a lot.
Chin up maybe next year.
