| yeah, i agree, but it has been marketed at the right level. i think thats been proven.
it will be very interesting how many sarries get at wembley. i think they have been pretty clever, as northampton have a huge travelling support and there will be an awful lot of people wanting to go just to see a game of rugby at wembley. i would imagine somewhere between 30-40k will go to this, depending on the price obviously, but that will look pretty empty in wembley despite it being a sizable crowd

While for a [isemi final[/i we can only get 13350. Crazy.'"
Why is it crazy?
The last time a semi-final attendance exceeded 20k was 1999.

I am not taking my son to the semi, he did not have a season ticket so could not get seats together with him and my mates who do, i feel tickets allocation needs a serious review or you should be able to sit where you want in a stand

Looks like it was a great call and with 3 weeks to go i guess it may just sell out or just be short by a few tickets, probably less than 100.
I would say that was a perfect situation, much rather be in a full or as close as could be full stadium rather than Huddersfield or Bolton which would literally be half empty.'"
I didn't, I knew it wouldn't be a problem just as it wasn't last time. Makes you wonder what sort of match would bring the Wiganers out.

A wembley appearance with a full time squad against a semi-pro side with a free pie thrown in and an early exit turnstyle?

| Likewise, I know people who usually come with us, who have been to most games this year, home and away, yet havent got a semi-final ticket because they don't want to be in a different stand etc to us.

Harlequins could play one of their home games there. The stewarding costs wouldn't be very high, as they'd probably only open the front row of the stadium.
Seriously though I agree with you, I don't care what anyone says Widnes is a ridiculous choice of semi final venue and makes the sport (and the RFL) seem small time and unambitious.

| Wembley, Semi pro v full time? Wigan did that against Sheffield Eagles and lost. The only things missing was the free Meat and Tato's, or was it 'Babbies Yeads?'

Because he had to get his ticket the day they came out to make sure he didn't miss out.
What are all these people going to do for Wembley tickets? Are season ticket holding friends and family going to wait for general release to buy their tickets so that they can sit with these desperate to go friends? I doubt it.

I hope it fails but i bet 50,000 turn up
years ago we would be lucky to get 3,500 in but be able to take a cup semi to maine road now we get 10,000 and wigan about 15,000 and we cant fill Widnes?

I have tickets for the final for me,my mum and dad and brother, yet only me out of that group has a season ticket. If Wire get to the final, despite there probably being well up to 20k available for each club I wouldn't be surprised to see 1 or 2 per ST in the first batch.
It's okay saying people should wait, but then the choice of tickets at the right price can then be limited.
I believe Saints and Hudds didn't have such limits imposed like us, at a smaller venue, and I certainly don't feel there should be a limit for Wembley. They should go on general from the start, as this limiting to 1 per ST holder does cause problems.
