| rlHERErl is an example of a council of not only being woke, but emanating racial tension, and also wasting money when it's not necessary.
Amone & McGuire would've made up afterwards, and should be educated on words that they chose to say to each other. So it seems to upset others who hear it, and they get offended by it.
I apologize If anyone who has misinterpreted my initial post. I don't condone any kind of abuse of racial prejudice, and/or any sort of discrimination.

I hope you realise, that's the Daily Mail that you're referencing.

So what was the real reason?
In May i'm having a stopover at the seaside where there are 3 piers.
BTW - I hope both players get a slap on the wrist, and they have learned their lesson. I doubt it like.

38352_1407962301.jpg Packs Win Games
Great Packs Make All Backs Look Class

| I’ve no really issue about this…
I welcome it.
Not because I have an opinion on what was said, I couldn’t really careless.
My reason is far more long term and selfishly Wire.
To win a SL you need 2 packs…we have that, and no other club in SL does. We’ve lost 3 forwards and it’ll make not a jot of difference when we beat Leeds.
I hope this ruling is applied throughout the season, because players are thick and few clubs will have the back up to ride out 6-8 games a player short.
The odds of us finishing as league leaders at the end have increased imo, knowing this dumb ruling is in position.

Tripe. Utter tripe. It’s not about being woke, public perception and brand confidence.. These players are walking talking billboards, when the my say and do stupid stuff they damage the brand. We can all complain about not getting enough advertising revenue and media attention, but we need to shake the stigma of the sport.
People in the public sphere should be held to a higher regard, they are meant to be role models to inspire others. On the back of a really successful and diverse World Cup programme, people saying stupid stuff is going in the opposite direction.
You don’t need to be offended by it, you don’t need to take exception, but if a sponsor withdraws because of it, or a teammate objects to the language used, it can impact massively. The sport benefits from its tolerance, see Keegan Hirst, but that is sanitised when idiots say idiotic things, see Zak Hardaker’s comments to Child.
If you’re not offended by the language used, great. Stop reading, move on. But someone may be. It’s not being woke to want to accept every new or potential support of the sport.

If you want to look at it from a revenue pov, you can also look at the impact loss of revenue there is due to people/families who don't attend games due to hearing the crowd reactions for e.g. The referees a W..... You're a F...... joke ref.....etc. does anyone get found culpable in that instance? My last take on this is, if words have been passed between the 2 players, educate them, fine them and move on.

Clubs get sanctioned and fined for crowd behaviour and comments.
Thats what we at warrington have a message on repeat about foul and abusive language from the crowd, if someone as above is going beyond the pale, spectators have the option of reporting to a steward.
It happens.
What this comes down to is people of a certain generation no longer being able to use discriminatory, and no longer acceptable phrases in every day life, I don't care how casually it got thrown around in yer nan's living room in the 80s, society has deemed them unacceptable now.
And with regard to the alleged term used by josh, it wasn't a good look when price said something similar, especially not from a club that's pushing inclusivity via the foundation, the ldrl and the pdrl and even more so with warrington having just been hosts of the inaugural PDRL world cup.

| Maybe during Josh's long NRL, SoO and international career he didn't get called rude names, maybe their props are the personification of good manners?
Or maybe he's an idiot who is now going to get wound up every week by the opposition and spend more time travelling to the disciplinary than training?

A fair summing up. He is supposed to be setting an example to the Academy lads as well - all the private training sessions in the world won't make up for him failing to show that aggression is good, but needs to be channeled and controlled.

It’s not about the players per se, I doubt that either of them will have had any lasting damage from the incident. The punishment isn’t because either one of them has suffered an emotional injury, the punishment is to stamp out that behaviour in its entirety. The education has been done, don’t be an idiot, it’s rule one (and probably in contracts to not bring clubs into disrepute).
And on the other stuff, about calling the ref etc. is a prolonged process that has been underway for years. Subtly, wearing a mic, going to the screen, having refs and ex-refs explain the decision in commentary and in the NRL the challenge process are all efforts to have more constructive relationships with referees. It’s much better than when Russel Smith, the Connelly brothers and co. used to ref.
