| I'd like to see one of the 'younger' lads make a real push for a first team spot
I dont think it will happen, but it would be nice

| Quote: sally cinnamon "It could be deal of the century if we got Gleeson back, he will be struggling to find clubs now so we could probably get him on a reasonable deal heavily incentivised (like City did with Hargreaves). That would mean in 2009 we sold him for a big fee, then got him back on lower wages two years later....result.
Considering all the tries Fa'afili got when Gleeson was here, Joel Monaghan would be breaking SL records if he played outside Gleeson. Also it would mean Gleeson could have a chance to play in the current Wire team and get his dream of winning trophies like Simon Moran sold him when he first joined.'"
I'd have Gleeson back on maybe a one year deal, would give Rhys Evans a little more time/experience, and for me would soften the blow of losing King.
In fact, lets go the whole hog a get back Fa'afili as well, just so he can give the bazuka to our smelly friends again

Let's get Warren Stevens back on a 'pay as you play' deal

Me too, with the under 20's finishing second in the league and now in the final eliminator, they're obviously quality players.

A very good friend of mine always uses this line.

| Hellewell scored i think 19 or 20 tries this season
Evans looks really promising
Riley can step in a play a role as can Blythe
Mendieka looks a real talent also
Wouldn't say no to a talent outside back or replacement hooker.

No it's definately the elbow dropping, knee sliding, swinging arm, head in a tackle, always moaning to the refs moron Cameron Smith. The boo's he gets in Sydney everytime he plays there for Q v NSW tells you all you need to know about that bloke as a RL player.

Well I thought after years of dreaming of Wire on top of the league I could carry on!!
Good shout! He'd be brilliant. The only thing is, hasn't he got his own sport massage busiuness in Leeds?

| I think we're pretty much there and the youngsters should get the chance to have some first team experience. We've bought Ratchford and have enough players to cover centre. however it's Kings work from within our own 20 that I' think we'll miss.
Gaz O'brien is fit again. he's spent a chunk of his time his early stages at hooker and may be a good option.

Ben Hellewell has scored 21 tries in 21 games
James Mendeika has scored 20 tries in 21 games
Plenty of others in the 20s will be really pushing for 1st team spots next season which is brilliant for the club and testament to the work being done now with the Youth development at the club

| Looking at the first choice 17 the only weakness is interchange hooker. If Michael Monaghan were to get injured tomorrow I'd have serious concerns about us winning the Grand Final. Any other player would be missed, but is easily replacable.
Monaghan isn't getting any younger. He could pick up a few knocks as he gets older. We need to find a young up and coming hooker. If there isn't one coming through then we need to buy one.

If Briers gets injured we won't win the Grand Final. He can't be replaced just like Monaghan.
