I commented on all the hurt Saints have inflicted on us over recent years and you write about Saints not being Scousers.'"

I agreed with your post, then added a footnote for the people above calling Saints plazzy Scousers.

You don't need to throw bricks at coaches or attempt to bait the opposition supporters post match in order to have a rivalry you know, just need to have history and tradition which saints and wigan have in abundance, hence the mutual respect between both clubs (barring derby day of course).

Some sections of Warrington and both Hull clubs support (minority to be fair) clearly don't think of anything else apart from violence and hate when it comes to derbies, highlighting why your fans are tagged as the scum of RL.

how Wigan supporters (Odemwingie) are hoping for Saints to have players out for the CC semi final? When they played Warrington it was "hope they have the best side available so there are no excuses" Perhaps they know that they wouldn't beat a full strength Wire or Saints team.

I don't get your logic.. so against Wire they wanted our full strength team out, and against Saints they want them to have injuries.

Doesn't that suggest they fear losing against Saints more?

No I think they realize that if Warrington had had a full strength team they may have got beat.

I must admit myself, Saints with a full strength teams is a scary prospect, wouldn't be surprised if they won the Challenge cup and did well in the playoffs.

Dark horses?

With most convinced it will be a Wire v pie GF, there could be a few disappointed fans come ticket buying day. Hope it's not us.

Eastmond may decide to go out on a high. They have the quality, and are beginning to look galvanised.

I don't want wigan to win any game ever. But then the small advantage that a wigan trip to Wembley may give us in the race for the hubcap and then the playoffs is very appealing.

Reluctantly I want wigan and Saints to knock seven bells out of eachother with wigan scraping a victory in extra time courtesy of a really controversial decision from Silverwood (just so I can see tittylips face). Don't care who wins the other semi so long as they go on to win at Wembley.

I agree mate. Saints fans have never had trouble at Grand finals. Angels the lot of em. icon_rolleyes.gif
