| I wouldn't play Clarke until the Fev game if he is fit enough. Think he will need a few second string games before he starts pushing for a spot in the 17.

50086_1357229109.jpg [b:33tg3xj5]Me:[/b:33tg3xj5] I'm still reeling from the news that someone is considering watching the 1st and 3rd game on Saturday and NOT watching Warrington play. It's like being in Shea Stadium when the Beatles came to town and deciding to nip out for a fag.
[b:33tg3xj5]knockersbumpMKII:[/b:33tg3xj5] Is it FOOK, you're good but you're not THAT good, jesus you wanky fans need to get over yourselves, Beatles at the Shea in '65 was a once in a lifetime opportunity for some (despite the following years performance), you can watch a very good team in primrose & yellow play every week if you really wanted to but comparing it to one of the very best music groups of all time in an iconic stadia such as the shea is overegging your importance, you're not even the best team in SL atm:d7dc4b20b2c2dd7b76ac6eac29d5604e_50086.jpg |

| I went for Mathers but special mention must go to the Salford coaching staff for making Alker take the shots at goal from the penalties, particularly the second one. Lovely sense of humour.

| Monas in the second half, was much better than Monas in the first half. His kicking from dummy half was especially top notch, he's a settling presence we need on the field I feel.

That's a good call that ref the kicking, and forgotten about that. I think that's what Smith was referring to when spoke about 'understanding the conditions' better in the second half, we got our forward going forward then Monaghan kicked well from DH.
That's what sets apart from Higham, well, as well as the other stuff that he's much better at, but the option he has from DH to kick is excellent. We scored from one of his kicks, it was fielded - Broughton spilt it coming back with ball in hand and Solomona scored under the posts.
His kicking is much better from hooker than it ever was as a halfback, similar to his game in general.

No really, I was there in reality & I've seen the highlights since, he didn't. Once Clarke is back, he'll be dropped I think.

20896_1272707801.jpg Maybe this year we'll beat Saints!!:d7dc4b20b2c2dd7b76ac6eac29d5604e_20896.jpg |

| I have to disagree, I think higham has been great so far coming on from the bench. Whilst Clarkey may be a bit more accurate, his snail pace from bending over, picking up the ball, standing up, looking both ways, then passing has really slowed us down in previous seasons.
Having 2 quick hookers with pace to break the line from DH has worked great so far. I fancy Clarkey as more if a ball playing loose forward myself. Has a good kicking game too and give us another good option
Few saints fans have said our squad isn't big enough / lacks quality, I think our selection headaches prove em wrong! In smith we trust...
Second in the league, if it ain't broke, don't fix it!!

Definitely, he is twice the player he is when he plays at DH compared to halfback, his kicking especially has impressed me from DH. He was unlucky not to at least get one forty-twenty, having such a good kicking outlet not only from DH but in general apart from the halfbacks gives us alot more options, its good to see as you generally don't get that with many hookers in Super league.

But only occasionally.'"
Monas has just got in team of the month you numpty!! Shows how well you read the game....

Louis for me too on the basis that he ran and tackled really strongly and didn't produce his usual 'rush out of the line and leave a huge gap, knock on under no pressure, throw silly passes or give away needless penalties' type of game. Thought he lived up to his potential for once.
