has anyone on here ever broken a thumb? absolute agony. Your whole hand is effectively useless.. you cant grab or hold anything... may as well be a broken wrist.

a broken index finger, for example, can be strapped up and taped to the middle finger.. you can catch balls and make tackles like that.. it will still hurt mind.
