If Widdop is on the bench does that mean Walker loses his bench spot?

Exactly, if Brand can bring the same level of enthusiasm and freshness about him like Ashton has, I’m all for giving a natural centre the selection over a square peg in a round hole.

I think you may stretching the argument a bit if you are suggesting that Ratchford is a square peg. He is a very good centre.
Many on here (including me) have probably not seen Brand play. If he is a good 'un it really throws up a lovely problem.

Can’t believe he’s left out Ashton, mamo confirmed in the centres. Baffles me how we treat the younger players.

In contrast I think this is a good game to give Mamo a 1st team dig. A little team rotation keeps players fresh and keen. I'm OK with the change.
