| Shades of '09 final if Currie starts in the halves. Difference being we had Briers where as this time we've got the much maligned Declan. As long as we give it our all along with one of Wembley's kitchen sinks I don't think we can ask much more. Unfortunately this Saints side are the best SL outfit since ours in '11 imo.

And all we had for the show was a hubcap too.

Yeah this is what i would go with, but i'd be 50/50 between Mamo or Davis on the bench. Only doubt for me is Austin but even in his Sky interview he said theres no way i'm missing that. If Austin doesn't play lets dye Smiths hair and paint a goatee on and put him in a number 6 shirt

Davis on the bench 100%. We need a forward and someone who can come on at 9 if for any reason Daryl has to come off.

| I’m waiting for some good news.
Maybe an interesting tactical team selection to sow the seeds of doubt in the opposition. Maybe a big signing announcement; but looks like I’ll have to stick with my daughters GCSE results as the only piece of positive news.

| Was thinking how many of these need to happen to give us a chance
1- Austin plays and performs like the first half of the season
2- The props all lift their game and rip into Saints, Hill plays like he wasn’t the Captain (remember those days), Cooper offloads, Sita plays long minutes and skittles the defence
3- Ben Currie reproduces his form of yesteryear
4- BMM plays like his Salford days
5- Patton plays like he did in his early games following his debut
6- Clark performs at his usual standard
7- Discipline is spot on
8- Saints have an off day

| 19 man squad to be announced at lunchtime - we can start the discussions all over again after that.

this list and your user name on here seem like a perfect fit....a big ask.
IMO Saints will do to us what we did to Leeds when Hicks scored his hat-trick = 30+ points win for Saints.

I think we’ll give them a game for around 50/60 minutes, but the big pitch and lack of fitness/morale/structure/form will take its toll and they’ll open up an embarrassing lead in the last quarter. ‘Plucky’ wolves not outmatched in desire, yada yada yada.
Remember we threw EVERYTHING at them in June and couldn’t get it done. Expecting more of the same but from a battered and bruised, patched up side.

So on paper, easy victory for us then. I don't give us a hope in hell but bigger upsets have happened. I'm just going to enjoy the day.
