| With various commitments I can justify going on a Friday evening but Sunday is a wash out have to leave about 1.30 and back by 6.30 with “fretting time” beforehand.

| Quote: moving on... "Very. I work hard all week and a friday night watching the rugby with a beer is quite deserved. As is the case with the vast majority of people, which is why there was a vote and friday nights won.'"
I also must have missed this vote, but I've only been a season ticket holder since 1967. I think it must have been held in secret on a Friday night in some pub full of single people with no young children they wanted to take to the match.
I can think of two occassions in the last few years, when supporters have not even been able to get across to Hull on a Friday night for the game, due to traffic and weather.

So when was the vote done and how?

| I've no idea. I keep hearing that there was a vote taken, but I have never seen any evidence of the vote? I haven't been told of any date or details of who voted or what the split for Friday or Sunday was. I'm a bit sceptical if the vote ever took place.

I think it was part of the online 'Hardwired' questionnaires that Roger Draper produced a few years back, from memory I'm sure the results/findings were published, but cant seem to find any trace of them now.

| i seem to recall a survey doing the rounds, it was after draper left i can't recall if it was from warrington or the RFL centrally, which had such questions as.
In term of match day do you prefer the following kick off times?
A Thursday at 7:45
B Friday at 17:00
C Sunday at 18:30
D Saturday at 11:00
They were all loaded, in order to get the answer they wanted, there was about half a dozen of these, all as daft and confusing in origin.
i think it was the rfl, prior to 2018 season, that may be what caused the reintroduction of saturday games.
Personally, i'd like the majority of home games to be back on a sunday, i'd also like to see the return of Lupus Non Mordet Lupum, but thats another argument altogether.

| Personally I'd like the games to be on a Saturday night about 19:30/20:00, something worth watching or doing at that time.

It was May 2015 when we had the initial fan survey.
In Oct 2015, when the fixture list was announced, the club said[i...with the general consensus from the fan survey showing a preference for a Friday night and Sunday afternoon spilt.[/i"

Even 5.30pm or 6.00pm on a Saturday would be perfect.
Won't happen whilst the football is on though.

| I've had enough of the whole swap and change.
I'd hit the breaks by following the Pies and go all Friday night.
Saturday afternoon is pants.

Fully agree with that. Would be very minimal disruption and fixtures switching then.

I used to find that a saunter down to the Stag and a couple of liveners before the game on a Sunday afternoon at Wilderspool, use to bring me round from the enjoyment of Friday and Saturday evenings.
Time, and a different set of circumstances/responsibilities changes everyone in the end.

The vote/survey was held online. If you missed it then unlucky, why would these people all be single with no young kids? I know plenty of young families that let their kids go to the match on a Friday because there's not school in the morning and they aren't wet flannels.
Wow two occasions?!? Why that is utterly ridiculous! We need to let go of this mentality that it is out of the question to travel for 3 hours to hull on a Friday. Football manage it up and down the country every week.
