| Quote: Psychedelic Casual "Any of the less busy ones. I always prefer a simple clean looking kit. They look classier.
The fewer random flashes here and lightning strikes there, the better. Rugby League kits never used to look like a Transformers costume fifty years ago so they shouldn't need to now, the 1990s and 00s fashion has long gone now, back to clean and simple designs for me!'"
I agree. I think you can introduce enough interesting variation from year to year, through switching between hoops, stripes or a plain front with a V, using primrose, blue and white.
I remember seeing a great picture on the wall in one of the leagues clubs in Australia, from one season either late 1980s or early 1990s, featuring all the captains of the Aussie teams in their home colours. Every one of the kits was the iconic classic kit you would expect from that club. They all had a sponsors logo on but other than that they were clean classic rugby shirts. The sense of history and identity was awesome.
I wonder if the problem these days is people get hired as "designers" and they feel like to justify the fee they charge, they have to come up with something "original".

| None of them float my boat. Bit Leeds again.
But thank you for the effort.

| I see today's victorious Europe Ryder Cup winning polo shirts, are a blatant plagiarism of our 2012 strip.
Maybe we should sue
Well done Europe.
I know golf isn't everyone's cup of tea, but Ryder Cup IS the best televised sport EVER. 3 days of pant filled terror.

Funny you should say that RD as they look like wetsuits to me.
Not knocking you efforts Lister as it's the template shape that's giving me the impression of surfing gear. Handy for Wheldon Road I suppose!

| I wouldnt mind seeing something along the lines of the "classic" Hull/Wigan" irregular design of the 80's , using P&B, for a season

Cycling kits I thought.
Though the first couple of attempts remind me of amateur kits you see in the back of the guardian

| The top one is a bit outlandish. More of a training top but the others would sell well I think.

Better than some we've had recently though.

| I've designed a few kits over the years and cycling through kits on a template is never a good idea. You easily end up with too many without much thought about what you're actually designing.
The online templates/kit makers don't look the best either. The first ever kit I designed was for a football team - coincidently were also playing in yellow blue - and they asked for a few ideas. I came back to them a week later with around 100 different sketches. It was just too much and although we did whittle it down to a decent kit in the end, I learnt a valuable lesson in design.
The thing that ends up spoiling kits more than anything though is the number of sponsors we have on our shirts. You're never going to get that 'classic kit' feel with them.

| If anyone on here has ever worn a predominantly yellow top they will probably be aware of the downside. They attract all manner of flying insects. That's why fly paper is yellow, it's not a good colour for a rugby top.
