| Hill, Clark and Cooper were all top class. Hughes also excellent for the full eighty (I think) including a flick pass out of the back of the hand to set up the space for King's try.
Roberts and Brown steered us around the park in possession with Brown making some big hits in defence.
Ratchford was rock solid at the back in appalling conditions whilst Charnley and particularly Lineham took the ball up strongly.
All in all an excellent team performance executing the correct game plan for the conditions.

| I listened on the radio, great result for us today. I'm actually starting to look forward to watching the superleague show again these days, the frustration levels are well down as far as I am concerned. Huge credit to all the coaches and players for sticking together after a difficult start. I'm hoping we see the rest of the month out unbeaten now and maybe then I will be starting to believe we could challenge this season.

| Clark was the clear mom for me but fantastic effort though by everyone 1-17. What really impressed me more than anything else was the desire amongst our players. We looked like we wanted it more than Castleford and were stubborn and ckinical with everything we did. Well done Wire; a real stand out result and reason to give us much hope.

| Top result that. Massive!!
Looks like the lads are starting to buy into what Price wants to achieve. Price seems to be learning the league as well, as it does look like the shackles have been taken off to a degree going forward, ball getting a bit more air, fair play to him. Going all out 'NRL' wont get us far. He is still learning, which is great to see. Finally, great to see the mood changing amoungst the players, as well as on here!!
Steady improvement is all i wanted to see at the beginning of the year!! Even with other teams having games in hand. If you said we would be 3rd after Easter (with wins against 2 of the perceived top 4) id of snapped your hand off. credit to all concerned!
Well earned few days off for the lads now i hear!!
A special mention to Daz Clark....how big has he been this year!! Unreal. Be a shame if the rumors are true about an NRL switch next year!!
Lets just keep building now and see where we go....

| Clark was ridiculously good yesterday and we are so lucky to have him.
MOS form at the minute.

Didn't you get the memo? Barba has already been presented with this season's MoS.

Good review PY
I have to agree having been highly and rightly IMO critical of Hughes, particularly last year he's been performing well this year, not just effort, but, running decent lines. Perhaps an indication that we are more balanced out wide as last year as soon as he received a pass the move was generally over
Long may it continue

In terms of attack, Smith used to tell the players to play what's in front of them. Great when you've got the biggest pack in the league and spend plenty of time on the opposition try-line with Briers and Monaghan calling the shots.
However, I think this current squad is one that will thrive on structure and following game-plans. I can see Roberts and Brown being successful when we have players running lines in attacking territory. Just follow the same pattern and spend the rest of the time defending like hell when we're not in the opposition 20.

Quite possibly, although I tend to agree with easy's synopsis without opening up the debate on recruitment and transition from Briers and Monaghan running the show. Hughes was poor last year, so here's one for you, he's not a bit of a kid does the player have any responsibility?

He has responsibility to following the training programme, diet, and game plan. I think I agree with the post above that a more structured attack has helped him together with a return of confidence. God knows what TS was doing with them in 2017.

I think it was not seeing the woods for the trees with Hughes.
He was asked to cover backrow and 3/4 and was ever present trying to do it hard with a front row that were pants.
What Hughes endured last season against diversity has made him a better player. Under his form I wouldn't swap him for his Wigan equal Bateman.
Hughes was asked a lot of and did what he could even though it made him look calamitous.
