Correct, the worry about the middle 8's is you have to win 5 out of your 7 to avoid the million pound game.

and as Salford fans have highlighted last season they were a decent enough team and would have made the top 8 without their points deduction for cheating.
However in the middle 8's they themselves ended up in the million pound game and almost got relegated ......that can so easily happen to our gutless shambles of a side.

One of our proudest records is never having played outside the top flight in 140 years....it's impressive. Tony smith could well get the end of that achievement on his cv. In a time when our club has huge financial backing, the best crowds for decades, wonderful training facilities and playing in a very low quality league-that would really take some doing.
