Oh we have been where you are for many years don't worry. But expectations are likely to be and should be different given the amount of money that has gone into assembling this side. Plus remember we have won nothing since 2012 so the glory hasn't been there for a while.

I was on the terrace when saints beat us 80 nil.... This is not that team from back then it's a hundred times better there just not at the races at the moment and I for one refuse to believe that they want come good again, playing to an empty stadium will not help. Turn up with your Cullen Ermmm I meen Smith out banners but don't just not turn up. Your team needs you'"
Well you have a right to voice yourself but trying to incite a protest isn't something I agree with.
I think there is enough display on the pitch with my team to suggest we have a problem.
I'm very sure the board knows the extent more than most in here...."Maggie Maggie Maggie, out out out" I can assure you does not work.

Our worst in (fairly) recent times was a run of five losses, including a truly pathetic surrender to Hudds in a CC semi back in 06. The coach - whose name escapes me - kept his job and led the team to a GF win in 2007.

Incite a protest are you joking have you read what I wrote its called sarcasm anyway when did you became the moral compass. I'm not looking to cause trouble at the ground I just want people to take a deep breath remember why they go to the games in the first place, to support there team. It may get worse before it gets better but it will get better
Jack.
Sorry. Did I say worse. That should have been a lot worse haha

They also lost 6 league games on the bounce and won 1 of 10 last year. You've invalidated your own point, which is that the 'winning' clubs you keep citing, being Wigan, Saints and Leeds, wouldn't show sentiment, or loyalty or whatever you want to call it: Leeds did EXACTLY that last year, resisting the calls of fans to react and sack McDermott. This year, with arguably a worse squad than they entered 2016, they are benefiting from that decision.
I think there's another lesson here: some of our fans arrogantly think we have money to burn, so can buy whatever or whoever we want to solve a problem. It's not that simple. If it were, then Leeds as the richest club in SL could have taken this easy route last year. The board have to weigh up whether the bigger risk is sticking with Smith, or taking a chance on whatever the best alternative is. None of us know what that best other option is, so it's impossible for us to take a real decision on whether it's right to stick with Smith or not. I'll trust the board (of directors, not this message board!) to make that call.

I didn't think our support was bad (numbers wise) given the state we are in mind you its a different perspective being in a crowd as opposed to looking at it. Talking of which you were hardly packing them in up to the rafters in the home section better luck next time now you've had a big win.

Sorry Mark I usually enjoy reading your posts but cant fathom this one. Why can't you believe you went aren't you a supporter it's only a trip to St Helens not the Ukraine.
Sure I'm disappointed, but, do "I feel like a complete mug" not really it's a bad time for us and if anything I thought it was marginally better than last week at Leigh which was IMO a more inept performance although both are unacceptable.
Others on here have every right to vote with their feet if they wish but it's not for me and I'm not trying to come across as a self righteous 'super fan because I'm not but my suggestion is we as a bunch of supporters should vote with our feet getting to games not staying away and get behind the team during the match.
Boo at the end if you want polite applause if you want (neither are for me btw) but while we are playing get behind the team in numbers and vocally what's the worst that could happen?

| Peaceful protest is how we change things in this country. Whether it's at the ballot box or the turnstile it's everyone's right to register their disapproval and that includes staying away.
Moran is a business man, rugby is part of his business and we are his consumers. I'd expect any successful business man to listen to his customers first, and his heart and his friends a very distant second.
Sit in protests and staying away aren't my thing but I don't blame anyone for doing either if it's an earnest expression of concern for the club, and an attempt to bring about positive change.

I don't disagree with this or those that choose to stay away, each to their own mine's a different approach on the basis that there seems to be a suggestion that the players aren't playing for TS, well that maybe true or it might just be a case of "send three and fourpence..." Well why not try and convince them to play for us and if not for us then for themselves and a bit of personal pride if that is what is missing.
Yes it might be a bit naïve on my part but if I'm going to the game why not give it a go, the players at the end of this week's game and last stood on the half-way and shuffled across expecting the bird they didn't know what to do even after the game had finished. One way or another this season we've got them and they've got us, they need to know what they are playing for and together we might turn it around.
As an aside last night I saw a kerfuffle at the end of the game at the back of our end Wire v Wire (two middle aged blokes v half a dozen young shavers)whilst not a major incident there's no need for that kind of bell endery poor form all round
Sorry for the Churchillian rant it's not my place but I'm fed up negativity, rumour mongering and a sense that there are plenty of our own that are too eager to moan (you've every right btw ha ha )

But as a businessman, in a rugby context, have his "investments " been value for money, and has his product been value for money.
Or maybe Warrington is just Moran's pastime, win, lose, or draw, does he have the same perspective on it as day to day fans.

| Do you know what. At this time the players need our full support. They are clearly low on confidence and need to supported by us!

| Be careful what you wish for. Mr Moran and his chequebook has been the life blood of our club for the last 8 or 9 years. It would only take him to walk away and we could quickly be facing a Bradford Bulls scenario.
