| I could see this happening, we have Hughes, Westerman and Currie on good contracts. I'm guessing Westwood has a decent amount of the salary cap taken up by his contract as well.

| Harrison and Laithwaite too who were both regulars last year and Jullien, Philbin (prop or second row?), Wilde (remember him?).

Well, i did think along these lines during the gooners saying that the players we were missing weren't starters, i'm pretty sure laithwaite and harrison were 2/6ths of our starting at the beginning of the season.

| Given we have had players at the club previously (some on big salaries) that play c10 minutes per game, I think we should try and keep Benny for as long as there's some rugby left in him. He has been a fantastic player for Warrington and deserves everything we can offer at the end of his career.

| While Ben may not be as fit as he used to be,it is worth remembering that he doesn't spend a lot of the season unavailable through injury.

| The club can't be run on sentiment. If Ben can still offer value for money then we should offer him another year. But if better value can be got elsewhere, either through improved contracts for current players or bringing in new signings then perhaps it's time to let Ben investigate his options elsewhere.

| Easily worth another year. .... he's not called super Ben for nothing .
I'm sure all the other second rowers have more "impressive" stats.. but Westwood is still the hardest player to put down second only to Chris Hill.
We don't have enough mongrel to get rid of him just yet. ..
I see Benjamin Julien as his long term replacement...so we don't have to offload him yet and nor should we.

| Benny isn't finished but he looks out of condition with extra weight. I'll not be too hasty to judge after seeing Joel turn it around.
At this time are there many of us who wouldnt swap Lineman for Joel this season or Johnstone at Wakey under present form?

| Westwood started the season very well - in fact he won the 1st players player of the month award.
Dont under estimate the operation(s) he had on his ankles - he returned 2-3 weeks earlier than expected and is still on catch up from missing 4-6 weeks training
In fact dont be surprised if hes not in the squad / team this week

I'd rather have lineham as things currently stand, How has Joel turned anything around? has he scored loads more tries this season than Lineham? Solomona is scoring all their tries he would definitely be worth a punt. Johnson is a top prospect but he still has a lot to prove, I think he is at the best place for him for the time being although i expect that he will have a lot of offers from other clubs for next season. Lineham will improve under smith and he is already at a good starting point and scoring tries for us.
