Sincerely hope they both play on Friday.'"

It's hard to adjust with a short turnaround when you lose any of your 1 6 7 and 9 from the side and we lost our regular 1 and 6 going into this game.

Might get shouted down for this but Patton was the biggest factor that cost us that game.

We should've had Gids on the bench instead of Patton. I firmly believe Gids is fit enough to have had a 20 minute stint either half and still be fine for Wigan.

Giving Patton the nod for his first game this year against Hull FC away, what was Smith thinking?!

Easter games are up in the air affairs & can go either way. From the commentary, Hull seemed sharper in attack, especially as the game wore on, & deserved the win & we weren't helped by the goal kickers having difficult shots from wide out. Maybe we need to try & score closer to the posts seeing as we have had problems with conversions for the last two seasons at least.

To be fair Hull were due to nick a close one. We had 8 players out today and I expected you to turn us over. I did say before the game that today was a good time to play you on the back of an unbeaten run and Easter Monday. Sandow is class and Lineham will score bucket loads for you.

Just out of curiousity who were you missing?

Hull had there first choice three quaters out; Talanoa, Tuimavave, Logan and Fonua.
Pryce and then Pritchard, Minichiello, Manu all obviously first choice from the pack and Thompson from the bench. Big shout to the young Hull lads we had playing today all eleven of them.

Gidley had a dead leg according to Smith, otherwise he would have played.

You should get shouted down as if Lineman scores one of the 3 bummed tries we win and its a great choice to rest Gidley for Friday. Lineman misses a few chances and Smith has made a daft decision and Dec Patten should not have played.
If we beat Wigan on Friday and Gidley has a great game it is still the right decision despite todays result.
As someone said 8 games in won 7 and top of the league is beyond anyone's perceptions at the start of the season.

So that's our starting full back and stand off, one of our props, our interchange hooker and a utility forward

Excellent game, in which both teams played there part, Sandow was brilliant in the first half, almost unplayable. Good following from your team, in the end the tatic from Radford to bring in fresh players got us the win IMO.

You won't be fair off winning the league, I just we aren't far behind you.

Just seen the coverage on Sky site
That last try is a real sickener. Needless chargedown, and should do better with the tackling so close to the touchline.

Ah well. Onwards Wire

Chargedowns yet again cost us a game, a stubborn policy that cost us time and time again.

I think there is a definite forward pass in the 3rd try for hull, can't believe there was no appeal from the players tbh!
Not sour grapes as more than happy with the start and today's display. I think I even saw a pass from Atkins to the breadbasket of his winger to set up a try, almost
Looked like a proper centre for a change
