| Quick question, where does this leave Steff?
Any chance he could be coming back to us?

It leaves him as a bench player. Probably interchange hooker till Dwyer is fit again. Russell has full back nailed down Sandow and Gidley are settled in the halves too and I doubt Smith will drop Evans or Atkins for a spot in the centre.
An injury to 1,3,4,6 or 7 will give him his chance to stake a claim for a staring spot - the others are playing too well at the moment for me to be dropped. He can still be very important for us off the bench.

Atkins should be making way. Ratchford has more skill in his big toe.
Atkins won't be dropped, no matter how often he stinks the place out. One of Smiths favourites.

Sorry but I can't agree. Atkinson had a good game last night. His fast play the balls constantly put Cas on the back foot. He may not have the silky skills of a classic centre but his athleticism and speed add to the teams array of tricks.

Why drop him or Evans when the team is performing well? We need to judge off 2016 performances.

| Don't think anyone had a bad game so my next comment isn't a dig although it will seem like one.
If i had to line the players up from best to worst Atkins would be 17th for me.

| Unfortunately,Steff's Jack of all trades utility status has left him without a place to call his own, but at least we have a very capable & versatile reserve who will no doubt come into his own later in the season.

| chris sandow is playing some pretty special footy at the moment
IMO he is without a doubt the most exciting player in the super league competition and one that will bring fans through the turnstiles
That kick he put in at headingley in the seasons opener to create penny's try in the corner was a sublime piece of skill
wolves are looking very good this season and will be the team to beat

Disagree massively, Atkins was very good last night his best performance for ages. I can't see how Evans is any better a centre in any department if we're looking for a centre to drop for ratchford!
Thing is on yesterday's performances I don't see why we should be looking to drop anybody! If ratchford wants some game time then he is going to have to earn it.

| Like i said, i genuinely don't think he played bad, not just saying this but no one had a bad game, a couple of drop off tackles or errors but no one had a bad game.

| I know what you mean but sometimes it seems like bagging Atkins for the sake of it. He was definitely not out 17th best player last night he was very good. Don't get me wrong he was outshone by many outstanding performances but credit where it's due Ryan Atkins playing like he did last night is very welcome in our team. As things currently stand he's our best specialist centre for me.

| Both centres had 7/10 matches last night, yes we routed them, but both Rhys and Ryan jumped the line on occasions giving them gaps to exploit, both were as good and as bad as each other imo.

| Atkins gives us a much faster play the ball, more tries and a more solid go forward. For me he is much better than Rhys. I am not calling for Rhys to get the chop but he needs to get us faster play the ball at the breakdown for me. As said though I wouldn't change anything for now let others prove they are better.
