Definitely a worthwhile run out in my humble opinion. Not quite fluent but much less one dimensional than last year. If you could not get Radio Warrington it may have been because so many attempted to log on -so we will investigate and try and improve it.

We will be covering all home and various away games this season. If there is demand and we can arrange it we will also cover some reserve team games

The commentary team seemed to like the look of Cox. What did others think who watched the game?

Great, we won a training exercise against middle eight opposition. Might as well hand us the Super League trophy right now.

I don't think most people on here are particularly bothered as to whether we won or lost. Most would have been interested to see if Gidley is really worth all the hype, whether Cox is really a reject form HKR or has potential, if the players look fit and up for it, whether we can string some decent moves together, i.e. they are interested in the early indications for the coming season. For the coach it would simply have been another part of the pre-season preparation and a chance to practice moves and plays at game speed.

But anyway, if you see the game as irrelevant, why bother commenting on it.

I did like the commentary... but did remember getting a bit irked with one of the commentators calling lineham lineman....which for me is on a par with jiffy calling shaun O'Loughlin ..... "Loughlin."

Take it as a compliment that this small issue is mentioned. Your knowledge & love of rugby & particularly Wire shone through.

Managed to get it to work after several attempt on the TuneIn app so it made the drive out of the country all the more easier. One thing I would say is when you're shouting for Wire try's, don't put the mic too close to your mouth, had to turn the volume down at times, haha.

Good effort though guys, certainly matched the effort of the team; sounded like a good performance, regardless of the opposition or where they finished in the league last year...
