i think its a case of easing him in gently.. Smith knows we are desperate for a HB... Wakefield at home is the easiest game on paper.
He may keep his place for the next game if he has a worldy.. i wouldn't expect Smith to keep him in though.

Agreed. I dont think he'll play against Wigan or Leeds unless he sets the world alight against Wakey, and even then its unlikely.

| O'Brien out, Patton in the 19.
King and Ormsby also both in.
It's game three of the Easter period with Wigan a week today, so we'll see a couple of first team regulars rested too. I'd guess Hill or Westwood being one of them, maybe Laithwaite, maybe Bridge.

| If we win Patton keeps his shirt.
HB greats like Murphy, Gregory, Edwards, T Myler and Gordon were not shoehorned in slowly. They were stars at 16/17.

I would leave Bridge and Harrison out as I really do not think they are fit.

you know we're not in the 60's and 70s anymore right? and rugby league isn't the same as it was then, by a long chalk?

And 80s.
I hope Patton can prove Murphy's law was correct.
