I have no issue with that pal, I would just like to know why they have dropped Paul Wood.

Up until now, when have clubs of any sport dropped a player and failed to tell say why?
The last time Paul Wood dropped a ball-luck (ouch!) they told us then!

Surely the club keep an eye on such matters as this, even if the rumour is untrue and a lot of fans hope it is, it could cause unrest among players,club and fans alike, we have had two small articles from the WA Guardian Wood's future in doubt plus the WG understands Wood has been omitted from the original squad, as some have already alluded to it has now been left open to further conjecture, a simple injured in training or a no truth in the rumours statement would suffice.

So if Warrington make a statement about Paul Wood, based on internet rumours, then don't Crusaders, Castleford and Featherstone all have to make statements too, to either confirm or deny signing him ? All of which is may be completely unnecessary.

Until the club is in a position that it has to say something one way or another then I think its right to say nothing, especially when the basis is "internet rumours".

All very good and valid points, I think in this case as it's now being a little drawn out it's the saying of nothing, not even a quick rebuff to the Warrington Guardians newspaper articles, that's adding to the has he, hasn't he part of this intriguing story.

As you say when the club is ready if it has anything to say it will, as for now I wish all the best for Paul Wood.

I am rather interested it why Paul Wood has been dropped from the Warrington squad to play Widnes on Wednesday night of that he was initially listed to play in.
Could the club please clarify this unusual measure taken.
