Of course you wouldn't get Warrington fans complaining about something like this.

If Warrington were to win the league leaders shield and then get knocked out in the playoffs wait till the wailing and screaming you'd see on here about how unfair life was and how the league shows the true champions and it was a disgrace that we only got a hub cap shield, the playoffs are a lottery that any team can win (if they are Leeds).

They'll still win it, it was just great fun that we stopped them on home turf.

They'll be demanding Sky turn up to show them parading the shield to make up for it.

I think any team would, but that's where we are as a society at the moment. I've got a feeling, based on nothing at all, that Saints would complain more than any other team. Maybe Wigan would run them close.

It's disappointing that Sky are pandering to them though.



Wailing and screaming would be embarrassing for any team but they'd be justified in thinking that league leaders should be given more credence than play off winners.
