Then again have you ever seen a game without a single penalty for offside or not being square at marker? You did tonight.
Luke Robinson in particular didn't bother being on-side all night.

| Both sides must be kicking themselves that they didn't win this game.
FFS. Hudds didn't enter our half in the first 20 mins with the ball in their hands.
We get 1 try from all that possession, then we decide to switch off, and "produce" the worst half an hour in living memory.
Luckily for us, Hudds decide to do the same, later on.
Ormsby. I'm not "dissing" him, but hell will freeze over before he beats a man, when returning a kick.
Evans. POOH. When will this lad get some luck. The lad's quality, but his injuries are awful. Fingers crossed for him.
Myler. I'm quickly losing patience. Buck up or fluff off
Waterhouse. Please go now. I've really had enough. He's injured for a long time, we go on a long unbeaten run. Today, he goes off, hey presto, we improve immediately. Are we following a pattern here?
At times tonight, he was little more than a passenger.
Waterhouse? More like Wendyhouse

Wrong on both counts.

| Thought that our lads did really well, especially to come back from 23-6. Hudds were up for it tonight and have quality throughout the side. For any Myler dissers; he was outstanding in broken play and o Brian did really well for me. The 2 Bens were just outstanding and Micheal Monas was pure class.
Had a few beers before and after the game and have watched it back and I feel the players were up for it tonight. Even after going down 23-6 at one point, we could have thrown the towel in and we certainly didn't.
There's a few defensive errors we need to correct but I reckon we'll topple the 'forward! shouting neighbours from the V shirted pile of rubble next door, to blasting the rubbish north of the Winwick border. Come on Wire!

| Can I throw in a shout for James Laithwaite whose one on one defence was some of the most brutal I've seen for a long time.

| I for one am frustrated with Ben Westwood's effort. His body language is awful, and was ineffective until he went for 5 mins in the middle around 60 minutes in. Laithwaite was by far and away our best back rower, no mean feat considering Waterhouse and Grix started too.
Michael Monaghan is the key for us. The spell with him off the field was woeful. Higham, Wood and England were not at the races.

| Not too upset about the result, at 23-6 down I think we'd all have jumped on the draw if it had been offered at the time as we were crap until the last 20 minutes. Atmosphere was poo again, until the last 20 minutes when the crowd turned up. Ref chose to ignore their players being offside for the entire game. Hope Rhys Evans is ok, he had a good game.
Random lad in the boozer afterwards (obviously a footy fan) said to me "not a rugby fan but that 2nd half was effin amazing to watch". More of this please.
Point gained rather than lost, bring on the Stains!

i spent most of the game laughing at him.
I've gone past criticizing him now.

Get your tin hat on, deckchair
The official "'house" fan club will be beating a path to your front door with torches and pitchforks, quoting endless stats and reciting glowing testamonials from various employees of the club (well they're hardly gonna say he's poop, are they).
I made a point of watching him last night, and he couldn't have put himself further away from the action at times, save from going into the stand and buying himself a hotdog and 2 pinter, if he tried.
Gary Sanderson was a "no frills" type of player, but never shirked work. And his equivalent pay wouldn't be any where near the salary of the "fated one".
Had enough.
I don't care if he scores the winning try in the GF, he's been a disappointment for me.

i watch him like a hawk every game now to see if i can spot this thing that ive been missing all this time.
But alas, he never ever does anything of note. He just doesnt like being tackled. He sometimes even winces before impact and is half way down before the opposition get their hands on him.
But oh.. hang on a min.. he played State of origin in Australia.... ok, i take it all back, lets give him another big fat contract.

| Even as a supporter of his, h can say he was Crap, then went missing last night. It was a surprise when he got subbed off as I'd forgotten he was on the field, ditto for woody and Myler I'm the second half

He's the HJ equivalent of Simon Gillies. Came with a SoO reputation, but never reached the heights of what we were expecting.
One of our more disappointing recruits since the Aussie transfer ban was lifted in 84-85 (Roach included)
