Hang on, hang on. At the start of the season weren't we bemoaning the fact that we had a trojan-warrior like set of forwards who were dominating the opposition, defending for their lives but the backs had no penetration.
Are we now saying, actually we look ok in the backs but the forwards are sh*te, whereas before the forwards were great but the backs and halves were sh*te?
Perhaps the truth is that the backs, forwards and halves haven't collectively performed to their capability in one single match this season - possible exception of Good Friday, Widnes performance not withstanding, when we saw the fruits.

Maybe is a physiological thing...
I mean the only game this season where our team manned up was perhaps the one game they went into it thinking we are gonna get beat anyway so let's just not worry and just play, was against leeds.

I've been thinking about this for a while. Hill s truly world class and I think we'd have a tough time keeping the NRL at bay if we were champions, let alone the way we're headed. |
