I don't understand this 'resting' players business. As long as they are fit with no injuries they should play.

Smith will take the easy way out like he normally does by dropping O'Brien and Ormsby...He's done the last few seasons dropping the youngsters even when they are playing well (Evans last season, O'Brien the last 2, Currie the season before)

Just playing Devils Advocate with the Atkins situation. He made it into this weeks SL Dream Team along with Rhys Evans. So shouldn't Ormsby be the one to miss out based upon form ?

Was thinking exactly that myself however, when I realised was utter tosh that had flicked through my mind, I quickly changed my mind and still want Atkins to have a spell on the sidelines!!

Ormsby has had two matches to prove himself. Atkins has had two years.

What an easy job TS has, there must be 20 different opinions on which 17 should play and where. Would loe to swap places with him and coach the team but it must be quite stressful in a strange sort of way.

What more can a guy do than make team of the week??

I think tony smith does have a bit of a headache this week. A few of our players have not hit their straps yet (Atkins and Myler) but I think he will stick with both, Atkins to start and Myler on the bench at interchange hooker. I just hope they both play themselves back in to form sooner rather than later so we can all talk about something else on here.

We will find form, I would love to see us play as well as we did in 2011 but personally I don't think it will happen this season, but then again it didn't happen in 2012 or 2013 and we made the grand final both seasons. We have good players across the park they just need to start playing like they believe in themselves again and we will finish top 4.

I for one still believe, come on the wire.

I am truly amazed....2 short weeks ago we had so many novices in the team we were heading for the drop & now all the youngsters are the bogs dollocks . Excellent this, get some fresh blood in the team,keep the kids & keep the faith . I am sure it will be a roller coaster season with plenty of thrills & spills ,whether we win owt or nowt .

How far is it to walk from the trafford centre?

Its not far as a crow flies but I don't think its a pedestrian friendly route pal.
You would have to walk into Eccles and cross a swing bridge there.
Somehow I don't think the department of transport would allow you to walk over the M60 Barton Aquaduct!!!

By Car it really isn't far, perhaps a mile or so. But that is using the Barton Bridge which pedestrians cant. So by foot its about a 5 mile detour.
