| Please, please, please let me tell you what you want. Go and and buy Stephen Patrick Morrissey's autobiography - it is not only a fascinating insight into the finest lyricist this country has ever produced, and one half of one of the finest music & lyric collaborations the world has seen, but it's got a lovely picture on the cover too.
Briers autobiography probably has more on rugby, totty and lager in it, but Mozzas (no not that one) has more withering put-downs than Ganson & Silverwood put together have ever heard, which is quite a statement I'm sure you'll agree.

| Autobiographies aren't my thing either, but were I to recommend one;
Read Billy Connolly's. It probably wont stop you complaining, but it may make you think twice before doing so. It's bloody inspirational.

Longs was terrible, surely Briers can't be as bad as that? I read Mike Gregs, well worth reading. Radlinskis and Barrie Macs are two of the better ones that I have read.

| longs is worth reading just to see how bad it is.
I loaned that out to someone a while back and told them not to bother returning it, however if you haven't read it, because of word of mouth has put you off, i reckon its worth suffering through. Plus it answers a few questions to things throughout the last 15 or so years.

| Usain Bolts autobiography - very very good.
He knows he's got a freakish talent but it's taken him ages to come to terms with it, and even then he's realized he's got to work is socks off to get where he's got.
The work ethic is something that clearly comes out in the book - unlike Lees (even though he's often been puking up at the end of training sessions).

| I started the Briers book but got fed up of the confused jumble of chapters. Got bored of reading about pranks and drinking and how he stayed loyal to Warrington because the money wasnt right for a move !
It is basically a story of a bloke who was snubbed at his first club, moved on, pi$$ed about for 10 years then realised what you needed to do to be successful.
A better idea was probably for his wife to write a book !
Still a legend though
=============================================================================
My recommendations for an autobiography:
Danny Baker - Going to Sea in a Sieve.
Part one of his life, funny, sad, uplifting - cant wait for the second book

| Sali - yes it is.
£20 hardback is the cover price but I guess you'll be able to find it cheaper.

| Having read 5 chapters over the weekend I have to say this is such a poor book, the amount of times things are repeated in just these chapters is appalling.
We all knew they were drinkers but to hear how much they had to drink just makes me angry, still.

| Was thinking about getting the Briers book at xmas but thankfully (after reading the reviews on here) it wasn't available for the Kindle.
read Moz and thought it was a good read.
Now on to David Jason's and its already looking like a good read.
