Whist I'm not a 'boo boy' and Trent will get my support as long as he's here I think he needs to up his game and what better time to do it?

I am also wobbling my head and from what I have seen on SKY Kirmond has impressed me more than our current second rowers.
His workrate and commitment are awesome.

| hang on, this is Trent waterhouse who got up to the grand final last year, almost singlehandedly.
I like Kirmond, he's got a lot of hustle, but he's not a game winner, by any means.

Hill 108kg
Harrison 107kg

Behave... he had a good game against saints... but single handedly?
if that's the case, Mike Cooper also got us to the grand final single handedly.

It appears my "manlove" for Mark Roberts, is being outdone by Cat' for Waterhouse.
Well, Cat, just like comparing two 9 year old girl's love for either JLS' Oritse or Aston, I can definatly say that I love Mark more than you love Trent, so nerrrrrrrrrrrrr

The name of Mark Roberts should not be uttered on a thread about whether we should sign Danny Kirmond.

Darlings of Super League: |
|
| Kirmond had a great game against Salford on Sky and everyone seemed to blow their collective loads. He's an excellent player and tough as teak, but he's in no way head and shoulders above our 2nd rows as people seem to be suggesting here. I know that, for Lefty, Trent is like Jon Clarke, Rhys Williams and Mike Wainwright genetically fused with a hint of Satan, but he was solid again last night and will show his class again in the play-offs.

No, I'm sorry
I have no grudge against Waterhouse.
Find me a post where I have, and I'll eat my socks with a ketchup jus. I just don't get the manlove for him, on here.
Many times I've posted where Waterhouse has impressed me. I'm just waiting for the majority of (NRL)games he's played in, where these 40 yard juggernaut runs we heard so much about, are going to transpose into Super League games. He done some. I'm waiting for A LOT more.
As for Clarkey, I liked the bloke. Gave 100% every game he played for us. As Stepho would say "he backs up play, like every good hooker should (as seen in Higham's try v Wigan in June). You wont find any trace of me slagging Clarke.
True, I'm not a fan of Williams, never had been, can't say I ever will be, but I'll still wont slag him off whilst he wears the shirt.
As for Wainwright, I loved the fella. THAT'S THE WAY I WANT MY RL TO BE PLAYED (most of the time), great passes and some risks (but not TOO many) taken. It just hacked me off, the way the South and Fletch abused the fella. It put me in mind of the grief John Fieldhouse used to take from the Wilderspool "faithful" in the early 80's.

| I have to say... I find Waterhouse to be a lazy player at times.
Not keen on making the hard yards either.

| Unless we are trying to corner the world supply of BR's, there doesn't seem to be much logic to this rumour.

This is my problem with him..... Great defence... Loves to run onto a short ball near the oppositions line. However, when we are under the cosh near our own line he isn't interested. Because this is grating on me i look for it and it happens alot. People suggest that maybe he is being instructed not to.... I find that very hard to believe.
