| Moz is a legend of the game without a doubt and he is also a player that i have the utmost respect for even though he doesn't play for my club
Moz has been a fantastic servant to Leeds, Sydney Roosters and the Wolves
I recall watching Moz when he first started out playing in the Rhinos academy team and then telling all my amateur club colleagues that i had seen a future GB international in the making, He certainly didn't let me down
I still cherish a photo that i had taken with him at Headingley in 1998 and it is still on show in my house to this day.
Fans were queuing up to have their pics taken with him and they all had the trademark shaking hands photo taken, But due to Mozza's reputation i walked up to him and asked him to put his elbow in my face....What a photo that is with Moz grinning like a cheshire cat

| Moz was always one of my fave none Warrington players in his Leeds and NRL days. Its been a privledge to see him in the Primrose and Blue playing well and helping bring success to the club.
Absolute warrior and top pro .. I hope his last 2 years at Salford are injury free..

| I do tend to look at the club through primrose and blue tinted spectacles but I like to think that, as stated somewhere else on the forum, the club is letting Moz and Gaz leave with dignity, not announcing their replacements before we have had a chance to thank them both for their fine contributions over the last few years.
No doubting that both will be warmly welcomed back when visiting with their new clubs and fair to say that they were top blokes both on and off the field and helped turn around the alleged brewery filled underachieving aura that surrounded the club prior to their arrivals.
Good luck to them both.

| He's always been my favourite 'non Wigan' player and is a living legend. He has beaten our pack before we've even started games against Wire at times these past 7 years through a sheer intimidation factor. The Wire pack as a whole have played well against us but this bloke has been the catalyst.
Saying all that I think the time is right. He's not playing as much and his influence isn't as great. We certainly haven't looked intimidated by him this year and that's the first time I can remember that to be the case which says to me he's winding down.
It's a nice way to end his career tbh.

| Absolutely gutted ! But sadly we all knew it was coming.
Moz has become a legend in his own playing era.
He has gone from being a fiery, hot-headed almost lethal young hit-man, maturing into one of the most sensible, reliable leaders in the game.
He was both feared and respected by peers in both hemispheres.
How many current players can distract the opposition simply by being on the field ? Just the threat.
We have some good young forwards in the club and there are many more in SL and the NRL.
But a replacement for Moz ? Thats going to be a very tall order. Moz is something of a throw-back to the hard days. They just don't make 'em like him any more !
Well played Moz !!
Thanks for the memories and every best wish for the future.

| So who is to replace Moz?
Also who've you got coming in instead of Carvell & Cooper?
That's real quality leaving, what are the rumours re their replacements?

| Have been incredibly impressed with his discipline since he joined us. I think he's only ever been son binned once..... Might be wrong on that.
Although my favourite memory was him against Castleford a few years back. McGoldrick stood on his hand as he was playing the ball so Morley just stepped forward and gave him what looked like a nothing slap. Next thing Mcgoldrick was all over the place and M Monas was sending the next 2/3 runners straight at him.
It wasn't something anyone picked up on and could only see it in the corner of the TV screen when it happened.

And Michael Monaghan too I would imagine - out of contract and struggling with fitness.
After watching Higham and Wood perform on Monday I would love to see both of them signed up for next year. With no additions our props would probably be Hill, Wood, Harrison and possibly Westwood with Higham and Dwyer at hooker. I would like to see an additional hooker and prop come in.

| Isn't the replacement already here in Chris Hill? Would like to see an impact prop brought in.

| Morley gone is an apt title. He's finished as a player and carries no impact at all.
It's a terrible signing for Salford, a nice PR piece, but he'll offer them nothing next season bar a professional attitude. One has to shudder at the wages he'll be on at Salford as well.

| Great player only really apprecited him when signed for us. Lots of cap space freed up I suppose.
We need a new front row to match Moz, Monas and Carv in their prime
