| So we can only have opinions when we lose, heavy traffic o the Salford board then?
If something is there to be discussed it doesn't matter on the score win or lose.

| Despite having an opinion about someone who I think is maybe a touch too outspoken what he did after the match for a charity was fantastic upstairs in the hospitality.
He won the raffle for a signed shirt and there was a charity coming round called Homestart i think it was and he decided to auction the shirt he had won to the room and pass the proceeds to charity.
Once the shirt had reached £300 he added on 2 tickets to join him at chester racecourse all drink and food included... the auction soon rose to £1000, then he added 2 tickets to royal ascot again food and drinks included... all in all raised £1500 for charity in the end and it was all spur of the moment.
Fantastic gesture - even if a little arrogant, that charity is £1500 better off

50086_1357229109.jpg [b:33tg3xj5]Me:[/b:33tg3xj5] I'm still reeling from the news that someone is considering watching the 1st and 3rd game on Saturday and NOT watching Warrington play. It's like being in Shea Stadium when the Beatles came to town and deciding to nip out for a fag.
[b:33tg3xj5]knockersbumpMKII:[/b:33tg3xj5] Is it FOOK, you're good but you're not THAT good, jesus you wanky fans need to get over yourselves, Beatles at the Shea in '65 was a once in a lifetime opportunity for some (despite the following years performance), you can watch a very good team in primrose & yellow play every week if you really wanted to but comparing it to one of the very best music groups of all time in an iconic stadia such as the shea is overegging your importance, you're not even the best team in SL atm:d7dc4b20b2c2dd7b76ac6eac29d5604e_50086.jpg |

Putting aside the objectively unpleasant nature of the word, I think calling Koukash a mong is a bit harsh. Admittedly, he worked himself into a lather about it but you're going a bit far there.

| He has just been on GMR saying that he was told by a steward that a player threw it and he is disappointed in the match commissioner for not consulting with him. However he then said he wanted to bring the incident to a close which is somewhat contradictory. He found himself caught in the heat of the moment and needs to accept that he was misinformed, learn some lessons from it and move on.

| Fair play to the salford fans though, as they are usually fighting with each other when they visit us... its an improvement of sorts.

| To be honest, I think players ought to be advised against hurling the ball into the crowd as a part of their celebrating. Similar happened in the Hull game when they scored in the South-East and their player launched the ball into the crowd narrowly missing the young kids (3-4 years old) in front of me and some pensioners just behind. If I was at a game with either my young son, or elderly father and they got a ball full in the face I think I would have every right to be very angry.
Penalties/Conversions are a different matter as the ball going into the crowd is unavoidable and most people are aware that the ball could be coming their way and should be prepared for it.

Canadian humorist Stephen Leacock wrote charmingly about celebrating his PhD in mathematics with a boat trip. The men on board all noted a very attractive young lady, and when the message came over the loudspeaker that said young lady had fainted, and if there was a doctor on board, report to the captains cabin. Leacock rushed there, but was preceded by a Doctor of Music and two Doctors of Divinity.

I, too, heard the same interview, Ganson's (I was VERY disappointed with Allan Beswick, he's normally Paxmanesque in these circumstances) .
The "good" doctor went on to say "We don't want to see things like that in our lovely sport"
The match commisioner said nothing happened
Koukash said he spoke to the head steward who said a Warrington player chucked a bottle....
....someone's telling porkies.
We need to find out EXACTLY what happened.
IF a Warrington player has chucked a bottle, he needs a metaphorical loving
If nothing has happened (which, listening to Dearden and McGregor's tete-a-tete, I tend to take more credence), then Koukash needs to make a SNIVELLING apology to the player involved, and a MASSIVE donation to the Wolves' charitable trust, to save a little bit of face. Koukash is not covering himself in glory, on this one.
