| Quote: Asgardian13 "The delay is because, after extensive consultation with all stakeholders, a change in the way the draw is to be made has been agreed. The purpose of the change is to make sure that each 'draw' from the bag is truly competitive and open to all clubs, and that excitement and intensity in the draw will be maintained right until the end of the process.
The draw will work like this
Shsh. Don't give them any ideas.
So the draw's on Saturday between 7 and 9. What idiot decided on that.
I think the draw on national TV is a good idea. You want to expose what's going on in our game to as many people as possible. But if we can't, then the next best idea would be to do the draw on North West/Yorkshire local Tele or even the radio.
The thing is though, it should be consistent. Either after the matches on Sunday or probably better, on a Monday Evening. Do that for every round and everyone knows where they stand.
To have the last round's draw, midday on a Monday afternoon on National Radio. Presented by someone who has no interest in the sport and turns it into a laughing stock, to this round, presented by god knows who, at god knows what time on a Saturday morning. Who is coming up with this?
What next? The semi final draw done at 4am on a Thursday morning on North Norfolk Digital Radio. Saying that, Partridge would fit right in but he doesn't work the early shift any more.

| The only reason its got a slot on Breakfast TV on Saturday is because the BBC have moved to media city at Salford Keys and there's less to report on up North. If it was based in London there would have been no chance. Hats off to the RFL for spotting this chance

| David Davies (sports presenter and long time anchor on the FA Cup draws) taking the mickey out of the last draw on the BBC news channel.....
"make sure you have the right number of balls"
"make sure you can tell the difference between 6 and 9"...to which it was pointed out "there is no 9.......but 1 and 7 look very similar"

| Dragons v Hull FC
Tough game to call, actually the game of the round for me, Dragons good at home coupled with FC's good form, should be a cracker
Wire v Giants
Another top game, tough one for us, yes we've beat them twice this season but they seem to have a real hunger for this cup this year
Warriors v Vikings
Extended training session for the Pies
Eagles v Broncos
Probably the game with the least quality BUT a lot of interest in this, but i'm not always a sucker for the underdog and sometimes i want to see the favourite win, in this case i want London to win.
Would ideally want a Catalan v London semi.

| Possibly the toughest draw for us, you'll be big favourites for this having battered us twice already, could depend on how the teams are playing and whose available as its some time off yet.

Sheffield play a good style of attacking football, with entertaining players like QLT. Aston knows all about 'cupsets' and will have them fired up. I think as with round four and their trip to Mount Pleasent last year the full time London squad will probably win on fitness etc. But providing it doesn't clash with us I will be heading over to watch!

Depends which Wire turn up. The excellent 80minute Wire; the in and out Wire, who are excellent for ten minutes then look all over the place for fifteen minutes then...all in the same match; or the careless, hopeless Wire. All of which we've seen this season.

Why whats the logic in that? Whilst I might hope that the French and Cockerneys both progress I would suggest that should Warrington be successful we might want either in the semi ahead of Wigan and in Londons case possibly Widnes
