I've been wondering this too. I certainly can't remember Warrington ever doing it.

| I think TS is currently sitting down with our U20's and telling them who will be DR with Swinton and who will be released. I just wonder if it would be a slap in the face to release some of these kids whilst signing new players ? Or perhaps I am just being naive.
And meanwhile the heading on the RFL website is 'academy changes to boost player development'. The only boosting a lot of U20 kids will see this year is onto the dole methinks.

| If Mickey Highams reaction to defeat on Saturday is anything to go by I reckon he might be off.
Looked like a man who had just waved goodbye to his last chance of ever winning the GF again.
I would like us to get another big prop to cover the likes of Morley and Carvell.

Yah Leeds a few seasons back, think when they won back to back.

| Matty Blythe has now gone to the Bulls on a season long loan. 1 more spot to promote a youngster to the 25. Who will that be?

I have just spent 15 min trawling through the rules, but you are correct. For loaned players, they are not included on the players register, so we can indeed have another player in our 25. If he had been DR'd, he would still be included.
My personal guess will be Dwyer and Laithwaite, but it could also be Currie.

| Currie is quick, could easily be a utility Rower/Centre

Exciting player to watch, he is lethal at U20 level given any space at all. Will be interesting to see him play this year.

| Would it be ok to play a significant number of U20s in about half the games next year to give them SL experience, safe in the "knowledge" that so long as we finish within the top 8 we could still win the GF?

Could have saved yourself the time by just thinking about Lee Mitchell this year

| What relevance are people putting to the "25" figure.
We had 30+ fulltime players last season and no doubt will have the same next season.

25 highest paid players must be under the SC of £1.65M. May go slightly over this for bonuses for international appearances, etc.
There's another band below this for about £75K I think, I'm sure someone will be able to clarify this.
