| It was a great day out, unfortunately Leeds were the better team on the day and stopped us playing our usual style of rugby.
And I have to say I was proud to be a wire, a part from the odd bit of trouble in the stands, the standing ovation when the Warrington players left the pitch after a hard loss was fantastic to see, plenty of Warrington fans stayed behind.
Onwards and upwards!

| Wire players hold your heads high and proud, challenge cup winners, 2nd in the league and grand finalist aint too bad now is it.
Wire fans hold your heads high (most of us anyway) and be proud that you've supported a fantastic team through a fantastic year.
Leeds players hold your heads high and proud too, champions you are. well done.
Leeds fans (again most of you) hold your heads high and very proud cause your team did you proud last night.
All in all a great end to a season and one hell of a highlight to keep us gripped till next year.
Looking forward and upward I think.
Come on Wire take a bow

Our best player, comfortably, for mine. His game has matured incredibly this season.

| If we'd won i had Myler as MoM, he looked hungry, supported everything went through every gap he spotted.

| For those criticising Leeds; don't. It is the system that is at fault, not the team. Quite simply, any system that can allow a side finishing in the bottom half of the table a crack at the playoffs, beggars belief.
In my humble, it needs to be a top five/six, with greater reward for finishing top.

| If we ever got to those heady heights of having 14 competitive teams, would we complain if a team from 8th won the GF using the current system - probably.
It's the system that makes it look stupid. Leeds are a top quality side and with their present team should never be counted out of winning anything. So they only finished 5th but it's the current system that allows this.
Playoffs don't fit with a league system. It only works when there are conferences or divisions so the best team from each division battle it in the final. The GF is a fantastic end-point to a season but we need a better and more appropriate way of reaching it.
So this begs the question would Superleague benefit from 2 eight team divsions?????

12 teams, no magic weekend. 22 rounds of home and away games then split to top and bottom 6 with everyone keeping the points they have already gained.
10 more rounds of home and away and the Champions are the team that finishes top having played 32 games - everyone home and away once, and then the other top 5 teams home and away again.
Excitement starts around round 18 or so when the will they or won't they make the top 6 starts. Final 10 weeks of super league consist of the top 6 teams battling it out for the title, and the bottom teams avoiding 'the spoon'.
Every club gets 16 home games and nobody can argue that the team that finish top are the best team that season and can quite rightly claim the name Champions.

How would you plan to reward the team that finishes top more?

| Couple of plays we let ourselves down and Leeds made us pay, we didnt bottle anything and we have got a good future no matter what the stupid goons say.
Got the likes of Evans, Currie, OBrien and Dwyer coming through, Hill is only going to get better same goes for Ratchford and Myler who are already at a great level and are at a young age.

First versus secod, winner goes to final. If first gets beat, they get a second bite of the cherry.
This is off the top of my head, I am sure there are some idiosyncrasies to be addressed.

In that scenario, you could be looking at the winners going 2 weeks without a game before they walk out at the grand final.
I'm not sure if any advantage is gained from a rest period anymore.
It's a difficult one.

Agree.
I don't know what the stats are but having time off doesnt seem to pan out as a reward
