50086_1357229109.jpg [b:33tg3xj5]Me:[/b:33tg3xj5] I'm still reeling from the news that someone is considering watching the 1st and 3rd game on Saturday and NOT watching Warrington play. It's like being in Shea Stadium when the Beatles came to town and deciding to nip out for a fag.
[b:33tg3xj5]knockersbumpMKII:[/b:33tg3xj5] Is it FOOK, you're good but you're not THAT good, jesus you wanky fans need to get over yourselves, Beatles at the Shea in '65 was a once in a lifetime opportunity for some (despite the following years performance), you can watch a very good team in primrose & yellow play every week if you really wanted to but comparing it to one of the very best music groups of all time in an iconic stadia such as the shea is overegging your importance, you're not even the best team in SL atm:d7dc4b20b2c2dd7b76ac6eac29d5604e_50086.jpg |

I remember the trip, and there being a conversation with the boss but can't for the life of me remember what it was about. I also remember it being painfully cold.

Matt Busby Way is also a good spot for a drink, fans all mix round together and can usually spot a good selection of shirts.'"
No disrespect Ande, but this is terrible advice. Trafford Borough Council have a strict "No Street Drinking" bye law, and it is rigorously enforced on match days. If you are seen buying beers from the off licences there, you are likely to lose them to the police.
Another good pub is the Toll Gate at Trafford Bar metro link station. 2 mins from the ground on Seymour Grove junction with Talbot Road.

Blimey not seen you for a while pal. I genuinely thought you had died.
Bachanalia for me for pre match cocktails.

I imagine Man United V Liverpool is considered a higher risk fixture by GMP than the Super League Grand Final.
I've openly drank cans outside Lou Macari's chippy and the away coach park on more than one occasion prior to that game.

Murph
Attire : I know you like your towny brands but I was thinking of Hugo Boss (not Boss Orange) black trainers (if dry weather the white D&G Italias get a spin), this season's Paul Smith (not PSJ) straight jeans, Aquascutum fitted white shirt and and Prada "Manc look" black winter coat with fur collars? Socks and underpants - undecided.
Will I get in the boozers in Manc or do I need Adidas LA's and a ty polo for fifty nicker?

I assumed DM had given up his fashionista tag when he owned up to the LFC tattoo on his leg. Sounds like the sort of thing most people who go in Sports Direct wouldn't be seen dead with.
Anyway, back to the thread. King's Arms in Salford is a cracking pub, but for a few Hobgoblins before jumping on the tram I'll be popping into The Vine.

| Hugo Boss shoes are okay, but Hugo Boss trainers? Not quite right that is it?
Aquascutum is a hoolie brand.
Not a true fan.

Just to clarify, somebody wearing an item of clothing, that obviously can be removed in only a few moments, indicating their support for a particular sporting team is untrendy/unfashionable/uncool/perhaps even immature in your opinion.
But a tattoo, presumably permanent, is absolutely fine?

| Replica shirts are for children.
Tattoos are for adults.
Therefore, in answer to your question, yes.

Murph:
Tattoos - never quite got it. Why does anyone feel the need to write on themselves once they have passed the age of 6? Are they simple?
Clothes Advice : To be honest fella I've put more expensive gear in the Red Cross white bag outside my door than you declare to wear on these posts. LOL Adidas FFS you must be on the breadline, live in an 80's time warp or deluded. Or all three.
Anyone onto transport to the game..
Transport : Was thinking of the wife's E93 M3 but may have to slum it in my 997 C2S. What do you reckon?

| I'd rather cut my c*ck off than wear a Liverpool shirt in public, nevermind the full kit.
I have lots of tattoos. I like them.

No disrespect taken, ive been the last 7 years and seen hundreds and hundreds of people drinking outside the chippys and off-licences there. They do have a barricade of bins manned by Police as you approach the stadium area.
Toll Gate is a great pub, they have a good area outside where you can enjoy pints/chat with other fans.

I do hope they are an "ever so retro" Adidas tan shoe? Plus I always had Murph as much shorter. Don't know why.
