The good thing with this thread is if we win the Grand Final we can make some graceless comments like Sinfield and McDermott did, "everyone was writing us off, nobody gave us a chance, except those lads in the dressing room, this is for all the haters, stick the SL trophy up your booties"

The most charismaless man in the world, giving the most churlish victory speech, ever.
I'd rather Morley just give a cheeky wink to the camera, and say " a big thank you to all the naysayers on RLFans' Warrington page, who want rid of Smith and think we aren't a big club", after which he unfurles a banner saying "cheer-up, internet doubters" |

I'm not a regular on the warrington boards so it's hard to know who to take seriously, when it's just words on a page, some people have seamed close to suicidal after the Warrington loss in the last game.
If it's tongue in cheek in responce to the OP then fair enough.

I do feel this will be our best chance of a GF spot for awhile unless we go on a signing spree in the next 24 months.
To be fair to Smith we have only choked once under him in the Playoffs which was Hudds at home in 2010 and last season was a flip of a coin between us an Leeds making the final, in a match that was good enough to be a Grand Final! we need to beat Hull though no excuses unless they go onto win GF, we should be winning against the 6th place team.
One thing I hadnt noticed was that in both seasons that Smith won the Grand Final his Leeds side had lost in the Playoffs then picked themselves up to defeat the sides in the repeat fixture, hopefully a good omen that Smith can lift this Wire side for Saturday.
