| As well as saints played, perry was absoulutely embarrassing. The worst performance from a prop forward I have possibly ever seen

A drop of malt to wash that down?: |

| I would be very concerned if I were you, Wolves fans. You looked like rabbits in headlights tonight. Atkins and Hodgson both had very poor games, Brier's was a shaddow of his normal self, and Saints out-classed you in every department. I think you'll win next week, but I can't see you getting anything at Langtree or the DW. Shame, you've been a joy to watch at times this year.

| We lost because Saints were very very good. End of. Our forwards were second best and so we struggled to make good yards. Backs in any team will allways struggle if the forwards are losing the arm wrestle (God I sound like Stevo). Saints on the other hand were making more yards, played the ball quicker and hence made more space for the halves to operate. Saints' defence was also excellent, especially in their own 20. We were shifting the ball left and right but the gaps never came. Very good spotting.
And well done to the Saints fans (& Wakefield). Only 7k Wire & Wigan fans and only 6k Leeds fans could be bothered turning up. Good turnout, as ever at the HJ, and very noisy too.

| It reminded me of the London game, and we all know what happened the week after.
Westwood Harrison and Carvell out of the pack meant we didn't dominate as we usually do so the backs had no time or space to perform and we're constantly under pressure from a fast smothering Saints helped by lenient offside reffing(for both sides) hence the panicked dropped balls and missed opportunities.
Last year we breezed through to the Semis and got beat, I thought then I didn't like the team having a fortnight off and I think it's a negative not positive.
Now it's knock out.
Keep the faith lads.

| My opinion for what is worth is that we lost because of several factors:-
1. No Westwood or Harrison which meant that our pack was dominated by Saints
2. Injuries to Carvell early on & Hodgson meant players had to do longer shifts, no wonder Hill was crean crackered at the end
3. Awesome defence by Saints meant we lost confidence when we couldn't breach their line
4. We didn't get the run of the ball. There were a few instances in the game e.g. Monas charges down a kick in the 1st half near their line then knocks on as he trys to gather it up. If a few of those had gone for us we might have stood a chance

let's hope Rush & KC recognise that and keep him away from the squad of 17 ! he really was an embarassment in an otherwise superb team performance

| Not one of our players played to their potential. With regard to Atkins it is a long time since he did play well.

With a team that is the age yours is you have no choice, its starting to look like a long season for a team that is getting very old together.

| The rotation clearly has not meant that we now have a fully fit squad.

| Hollywood passing rather than taking the tackle, Riley overrunning Atkins twice, even though Atkins should have taken the tackle.
Our offensive line very shallow and way too many cut out passes with the receiver getting next to no thinking time due to Saints line speed.
We missed the two Bens' industry in the middle.
Carvell getting the knock didn't help either.

| 1. Flat, no energy. Its as if we had run out of petrol.
2. Far too many key players didn't turn up plus a few of those that played last night shouldn't be anywhere near our 17, you'll never beat a side like saints carrying passengers.
Credit to Saints, they may well have lost the last 5 grand finals but they certainly know how to get to Old Trafford.
Just hope last night was a blip and a one off and we can pick ourselves up and gather some momentum starting next week.

| Why is everyone having a go at a Atkins? If Riley hadn't over ran the ball he would have scored two tries off those passes. Has for McBanana leaving Atkins out of the England set up, this is the same person who has picked Crabtree and not Chris Hill nuff said.

| Dont think there was anyone who wasnt good enough or hadnt earn a place in the 17
Did feel we carried on with Hodgson too long even though it was clear he was injured.
Ratchford at fullback and Bridge back at centre, hopefully Harrison back to fill void of Carvell.
