We DID deserve to win though, Yed.
We scored 22, they got 20
If they want to blow all that posession, that's their funeral.
2 points to us.
I see on the Pie board that there are rumblings for a fat ex prop's head. Shame. Mind you, Wigan do have a penchant for sacking coaches in the last 20 years.

| I know what you're saying Lefty, but i watched it in the pub with no sound (it's actually the best way to watch and analyse) i was papping myself every time Wigan had the ball, easy yards through the ruck and creating numerous overlaps, some great running off the ball. We on the other hand tried time and time again to go through the ruck and very rarely made more than 7 metres. We looked void of ideas in big spells of that game, what saved it for us was our scrambling defence and probably some of the hard hits taking the wind out of them.
Like i said though i don't care, winning ugly and winning went you don't deserve it are traits we need.

| 200 miles away in a pub with no sound but a giant screen.
Wigan did enough to win and should of but fair play to us - especially the first half coming in all square.
Typical Monas - knew he'd get a penalty at the ptb.
Wigan must be kicking themselves really (and I guess Wane will give Lauaki a good kicking ! Penalty machine).
We tried too hard at times and made some very basic errors.
I thought the Wigan pack had the upper hand tbh.
Bridge was really out of sorts after the first half clash and we didn't see Dwyer so we were rotating off 2 for a lot of the match.
Alsp Blythe caught Briers and Westwood caught Waterhouse with a swinging arm aimed at Lauaki.
Not a brilliant match skill-wise but really tense - only relaxed with 7 seconds to go !
TS has quite a lot to work on.

| Still not at 100% but still we won, win ugly win easy its two points we have that the pies dont tonight, we rode it out and deserved the win.
Think Mr "am I next like roycey babes" Wane decided quick that our defence was going to be hard to break down early on and went into union mode!

| Overall, a good win. It was the kind of really tight game that I would have expected us to throw away a couple of years ago. It's really encouraging that we can grind out these results and win without ever playing brilliantly.
Then again, it was never in doubt from the moment the Margin Meter had Wigan to win by 18.

| The only things that stood out tonight, were;
1/ Wigan played an awful lot better when Hock was involved.
2/ Warrington will be absolutely bolloxed when Briers retires. Unless Gaz o'Brien comes through. We have nothing to offer in the halves. Yet again, Myler went missing, meaning, Briers had to do far too much work in defence.

| Sorry but disagree,
Okay Myler didnt run the game like Briers did/does but his defence was cracking tonight, when you have someone like Lee in the middle running it like he does its sometimes harder to have two doing it. Maybe Myler stepping up once Lee is off the field is when we should judge that part of this game.

For me, there's no such thing as "didn't deserve to win". If you take your chances and get the points on the board that your opponents don't, you deserve to win. Even if your opponents dominate possession, territory, chances to score, style of play etc. if they don't convert that to points then they are the ones who didn't deserve to win.
Wire weren't great tonight but we defended well in our line and scored more points. We won and deserved to.

That's a bit harsh.
Myler's defence has improved massively, and I didn’t think he was as fault too many times tonight. 6, 7 and 9 (and 1) haven’t clicked so far this season, for me this is the reason we’ve been a bit off our game. We’ll done for picking the easy target.
